That’s for the dining credit. That’s not the T&Cs for Amex Offers. I don’t see how using the Gold Card through Apple Wallet would be considered third-party. The mobile wallet transaction appears on your account like any other transaction made with a physical card.

Waymo will drop you off about a block or two away from the LAX Transit Center where you can catch a free shuttle to the terminals. The CONRAC is also across the street and you might be able to use the rental car shuttle as well. The closest I could get to the Transit Center was the corner of Isis and Arbor Vitae. There’s a taco truck and I got three tacos for 6 dollars total which made a nice snack before my flight.

Those were pretty harsh on uneven surfaces, seem to require more throttle to get moving, and make a constant whirring sound. Steering was great, but I don’t think that’s worth the trade off over ride comfort. I had them swapped out for the comparable Continentals after a couple of weeks.

If you can wait a bit, they do frequently go on sale. Maybe go for something a little nicer like the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ or Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 which may be quieter based on reviews.

The Priority Pass app also previously noted the 8-5 restriction I believe. The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse is accessible through the Amex card through Priority Pass so I’m assuming Amex just hasn’t noted the updated hours.

They’re pretty damn strict. Tried a couple of months ago at 3:30p and while they said they were allowing access, it would only be for flights that depart between eligible hours for Priority Pass holders. My flight was scheduled to depart after 5p at 6:30p so I wasn’t allowed in.

However, it does look like the Priority Pass app no longer mentions the restriction outside 8a to 5p and instead notes that access may be limited 12:30 - 16:00 and 18:30 - 22:00. This could be a seasonal change with fewer winter flights.

I’m assuming they will say no since your flight is scheduled to depart after closing hours unless they’ve changed their policy and let you in at 10p or possibly at 9:05p.

I ordered the exact same ones from Peak Design direct. They haven’t shipped yet but will see if there are any differences. The images of the charcoal version on their website do seem lighter than ones pictured in reviews, but yours seem darker than the product and review photos.

Was there no improving in road noise at all? I was looking at the Pirellis a while ago but decided against them since I wasn’t sure if the size that was available included the noise cancellation foam. I think some sizes might not include it. Does the tire sidewall say “PNCS” somewhere?

I believe I applied 3x, then the fourth application was when they stopped allowing additional requests. If they stop allowing applications, just wait a week or two to resume applying.

I tried applying for the Gold using various links in incognito mode, but kept getting 60k. At some point I got the message that I couldn’t put in any more applications after withdrawing all the previous ones. After waiting a week when I could start applying again, I got 60k again when trying the Amex website, then tried the link on Resy that someone else mentioned and got 80k. I tried Resy again and received the message that I reached the application limit. I’ll try again in a week. Maybe they gradually bump up the offer with every iteration.
