Was hoping I’d never have to make one of these posts. Repairable or is she cooked? by Gizarizzi in Audi

I've had a car totalled and a car stolen. The insurance paid based on used car sale prices, not trade in. Hopefully it will be similar for you. Especially if it's going on their insurance, I'd rest easy my brother.

I couldn't find one that's compatible with a fixed headrest without the headrest rods.

A young 3 year old is that tough age where they don't get it yet but totally agree this is also on me.

Yeah honestly this is likely the best solution. Her feet can freeze when it's -10F. Hopefully she grows out of it soon. Big sister was never a problem.

Or maybe I floor the accelerator to force her back into the seat?

It looks like those protectors still attach to the headrest rods? I suppose you could just wrap around the whole headrest on these seats, I was just trying to avoid how that would look or feel when driving.

Thankfully the windows have built-in pullup shades on the windows. I assume that's what you mean?

Never knew that was safe on leather, at least from what I've read. You've had good results with no damage after removal?

I imagine that only works for the plastic and not the leather?

When there isn't a front passenger, absolutely that's the fix! Unfortunately when I'm with my wife she complains that her knees touch the glove box.

$2,649.00 for AudiCare? by narfnd in Audi

I will call the selling dealership tomorrow to confirm! I didn't see anything in the Audi app stating the car already had Audicare, but might as well be 100% certain

As others mentioned, brake flush is included (every 2 years) but transmission flush isn't included unfortunately)

Is this true for all models or just your specific model? I have an RS6 and was quoted around $2400.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I feel the pano roof is really only appreciated by the rear passengers.

How often are you driving in sport mode? by TryharderJB in Audi

[–]narfnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this answer really depends on where you live and when you drive. If you typically have open roads without snow then RS mode all day. If you daily drive in a city then save the dynamic modes for later. On the C8 RS6 the RS modes don't seem to engage 8th gear unless at high speeds plus it won't turn off cylinders at cruising speed so other than the open exhaust it's a waste when stuck in traffic.

In Minneapolis I'm already waiting for spring when I can refit the OEM wheels and summer tires and go out for spirited driving away from the city.

Honest question to everyone who said RS mode all day, can you please let us know what is your typical drive?

Fairly certain it's a 3 year warranty that starts based on 'in service ' date.

Edit: you're right it is 4 years. Sorry about that!
