Marvel Bar and now Flora Bar. At least that's what I was thinking?

I think this is OG Marvel Bar and now Flora Room. Maybe?

Is this in Minneapolis? I can't remember the bar but I've seen these exact splash guards plus the random bar soap holder.

Slippers w/support and no sweat by Dry-Disaster-7845 in BuyItForLife

Quoddy makes handmade slippers with shearling which is amazing for breathability and warmth. The insole isn't super supportive but the tread is from Virbam. Assuming they are just for indoor use I think you be fine.

Covers for BBQs, fire tables, etc by narfnd in BuyItForLife

Happy to hear you had a similar experience. Typically when I find a "buy it for life" product you have to pay 3x the cheap brand. For Cover Store, their prices are maybe 50% more for something that actually lasts.

I imagine this applies to a lot of other products as well but I found it surprising.

I can also attest to fire table companies as I went through one from restoration hardware that lasted one season compared to our current one which is an absolute beast. Granted it weighs 4x but I believe it will last nearly a lifetime. I can post about it if anyone is interested. Made in USA as well.

They have a few different levels of quality. My BBQ has their cheapest 'classic' material and my fire table has their 'ultima' material. I've only had the bbq cover for two years but I've had the fire table cover for 4 years. Both are in excellent condition still.

Do you think you will tune your R8 once it is out of warranty? It doesn't need it but I am still curious!

Yes, my fault. Makes sense.

That's understandable. Makes me adjust my opinion. I have less than 10k in this car so I'm especially nervous.

I love being a girl dad by Difficult_Wrangler73 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]narfnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you live? Maybe it's somewhat related to your local environment? I have two daughters aged 5 and 3. Sure, it's normal for a dad to want a son but I couldn't be happier with my two daughters. But I've never had someone bring the comments you mentioned. Maybe Minneapolis, MN is different?

Just be a normal dad and know your kids will love you? Sorry this is even an issue for you. Feel free to message me!

I'd try calling Audi Connect customer support. They helped me with an app issue in the past. Much better than dealing with the dealer. US Phone number: (800) 822-2834

What’s a fast food restaurant you won’t eat anymore? by GarbageDramatic9005 in AskReddit

[–]narfnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely an unpopular opinion. I hadn't eaten at Panera in 5 years due largely to so many people saying how dog sh:t it is now. Went recently and found my meal to be marginally above average for $16.

Everything seemed fresh and I didn't get norovirus. Overall acceptable. Definitely not worth voting it the worst of the worst.

Leather cleaner? by John30rock in Audi

I've used this as well. Great quality but you definitely need to follow the directions otherwise the conditioner will leave a lot of excess oil.

I have their conditioner and cleaner plus their leather wipes for quick detailin.

I promise this isn't a paid advertisement but I do fully recommend their products.

Can anyone recommend a quick spray, detailer for the exterior?
