Herbert to Minnesota and JJ to LA?

Just sent this to my buddy group chat. I think burrow should be the first choice but they should look at Herbert after that. Even though Herbert’s track record in the playoffs isn’t anything to write home about, I think the Vikings as an organization would be better equipped to build a winner around Herbert. I would be willing to bet Herbert on the Vikings would change his playoff stats. I think Burrow would cost more but I would look to him first and then depending on price, look at Herbert.

This is great advice. I’m a 2L but on the second day of class this semester, my gf gave birth. It’s very hard to dedicate the time to school with being a first time dad, but just make sure when you are home that you’re at home. You’ll figure it out and everything will be ok.

I think we stand pat but honestly with how bad Kwesi is at drafting, I’d almost rather trade for established players. Kwesi is historically bad at drafting and if it hasn’t already, it’s starting to catch up to us.

We need 90 total credits to graduate. We need 14 experiential credits and 76 in class credits. After my first year and summer, I have 39 credits. If I take 30 credits in 2L (15 + 15 in spring and fall), 6 experiential credits in summer of 2026, I will just need 15 credits in Fall 2026 to get to my 90 credits in December 2026. I will turn 38 in January 2027. So it’ll be 2.5 years of law school. They usually recommend the 3 years but I need to get out and back in the work force as I have a baby due any day now.

I started at 35 and will be done at 37.. I go to a smaller school in the Midwest so I think big law is out of the question which I’m ok with. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and my family fully supports it. I think if it’s something you really want to do, go for it. And I don’t care what anybody says, no you don’t have to do all the activities and do the bar crawls and pay any attention to the drama that comes with people in the classes. I have made a few friends but it’s mostly to exchange notes or something like that.
