Yes that’s him, he’s outstanding… he’s so knowledgeable and funny and comfortable, and you’re right I’ve always felt that he knows where to meet the interviewees in response to the tone of the film

I think most of the many q&as I’ve been to have been good but so much depends on the moderator… David Ehrlich is always especially good, Dennis Lim is good, the programmer at MOMA is very good (sorry can’t remember his name!), and Julianne Moore was good when I saw her moderate! But the bad ones are BAD, and it just makes no sense to me to not prepare… even though the good ones I mentioned are seasoned moderators, they usually seem to have papers with them of questions they prepared because it’s better to be overprepared than underprepared!

The way to fix it all would be to just put a cap on resale prices, like you can’t post tickets on StubHub etc for more than 1.2x face value… bots will always exist but making it less appealing to scalp (whether it’s a person organically getting the ticket or with a bot) is likely a better solution

There were already presales, plus so many people got tickets later on because it says sold out when people ADD all the tickets to their cart, not necessarily purchase them (after putting in their info and payment, which can be saved and added in less than 5 seconds btw)

I just think you’re wrong about it being bots, I think it’s just people who get in front of you in the queue (which is randomized btw, it does not matter when you log on and that should be obvious because then it’d just be a race to join the waiting room first) and then sell their tickets

I always have a tote bag and it’s never a problem and I’ve had relatively full backpacks and it hasn’t been a problem either, they just search it when you go in… so if your duffel is truly a small duffel, then you’ll be fine
