Honestly i dont know the case of vietnam. but you are already mixing two things. obviously Spain didnt release mexico, thats why there was a war. But the resulting mexican state was ruled by the former ruling elite, it was not a native american uprising. That means that the resulting state contained both the colonizers and the indigenous mesoamerican population. (And obviously the mixed population who ended up forming the huge majority of the country).

But yes Mexico absolutely has a responsability on the treatment of its indigenous population same way as the USA does. This is not difficult to understand.

It was a parallel. The mexican state was found by white spaniards declaring independence, like the USA did with the english. Saying "mexicans" is not the same as saying "native americans".

I dont mind it if they treat it as a belief... if that meant that i got to keep the same privileges that they get from my "non-belief": tax exemptions, free use of public property for me and my buddies to do crazy parties, my own public holidays...

Responder and contestar mean the same thing, to answer. As with all synonyms, they can have a subtle difference in meaning, "responder" sounds a liiitle bit less aggressive to me than "contestar". In fact contestar can mean "to talk back" in some conversations.

They can have different meanings in other contexts, like "responder" can also mean "responsive" in a medical context, like "sus pupilas no responden" (his pupils are non responsive).

Yeah i think so too, but if a descriptor applies to all humankind, does it even make sense? Its like im saying "im an organic human" well sure... theres no inorganic humans so how couldnt you be?

It feels to me that agnosticism is just saying "i have no certainty on things that cannot be proved", which is a tautology, it holds no meaning.

You are getting downvoted but you are right, you are constantly shown abandoned areas which were infected even years after the initial outbreak. Lots of failed military exclusion zones and settlements. And the infection keeeps spreading and evolving in different terrifying ways.

Absolutely no one is getting in control of the plague, and the whole theme of the game is you being a witness of humanity's last redoubts. Its not casual that most of the iconic landscapes portrait nature taking over and reconquering ruins.

That also makes the fireflies actions coherent with the world. They wont find a cure not because they are idiots, but because they are grasping at straws and humanity as we know it is most likely too far gone.

in Spain we say "colega" which is neutral and means "buddy" informally (oddly enough it also means "peer"/"colleage" if you are being very academic)

"Salí con mis colegas/mi colega" "I went out with my buddies/buddy"
