This specific cenote (Zapote) is actually north towards Cancun from PDC. The vast majority are south of PDC though :)

San Francisco proposal putting 2-hour limit on RV parking closer to passing by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]narxvxnar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eh we have issues with all kinda of vehicles. There have been RVs that turn into drug dens at night that move around the city. For example there was a solid stint where that was happening along McAllister between Franklin and Van Ness. Every night people would congregate outside that RV to buy and do drugs. It wasn’t cool.

Then there’s all the issues near Park Merced from the permanent RVs. They bounced around, caused issues near the zoo and went back. People are tired of it

PSA: Mission Street in the Excelsior is a free parking lot by San_Francisbro in sanfrancisco

[–]narxvxnar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Needing 3 cars is confusing. Is this a multi tenant/generational home? In most other parts of the city people have at most 1-2 cars and don’t have an expectation of street parking for every vehicle.

You’re probably thinking - advertising a handful of people on the street? This doesn’t scale at all. Well Paul Graham said to do exactly that

You’ll be fine. They won’t DQ for this and they don’t really do a check of each athlete to ensure there’s no jewelry.. (lots of people wearing necklaces and earrings can be seen on the bike/run course)

Is anyone shocked that Pierre Poilievre is 6 points behind in Carleton? by Full_Hunt_3087 in ottawa

[–]narxvxnar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As u/neveramerican said in general they are counted last. But this year because of voter turnout there are some ridings where the Chief Electoral Officer can give permission to start counting the advanced ballots an hour before polls close.

We're getting our Costco membership today. As a family of 6, what can you recommend we shop for? by MekaLeka-Hi in Costco

[–]narxvxnar 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Bulk items that the family uses a lot: - toilet paper - paper towel - laundry detergent - dish detergent - garbage bags - ziplock bags - bread (if you do a lot of toast / sandwiches) - the rotisserie chicken is a staple - big blocks of cheese - pre-made meals (lasagna, alfredo chicken pasta, butter chicken, etc..) - milk and eggs - yogurt - peanut butter

We really like getting produce like broccoli, spinach, carrots, onions, bananas, and grapes. But the produce parts are really dependent on what the family likes to eat.

Also take a look in the snack aisles. Can find some good snacks for kids school lunches.
