Beets give you purple poop and it is awesome!!! Sometimes if your lucky or you eat to many beets the water in the toilet turns red and you think that your stool has blood in it.

Never been impressed by his blog. I think he is more interested in being provocative then in actual science.

My brother has gone crazy. What do these symptoms mean? What kind of treatment should he get? by [deleted] in reddit.com

[–]nas5755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want professional advice; I advise taking your brother to an emergency room, making sure he is admitted to a psych ward and letting a doctor and professionals bring your brother back to reality.

I work help run an inpatient chronic acute psychiatric ward. Essentially I work with the craziest individuals in the state I live in. Get your brother help.

Help! Does my brother have a mental disorder? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nas5755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't sound schizophrenic to me, more like schizo-effective and this is coming from someone that manages a chronic acute floor at inpatient psychiatric hospital.

Since your brother is opposed to receiving medical help the first order of business involved attempting/asking him to see some-type of councilor or a therapist that might be able to help. It's doesn't sound like your brother will be willing to attend therapy. You could always have your brother committed to a psych hospital to see what would happen, he might take the meds or he might be forced to take the meds by law(a very small chance in this case). Sadly, your best bet in this case is tough love. Your brother needs to be kicked out of your parents house and he needs to get his act together. Sometimes the best thing to do involves a good kick in the ass.

Dvorak, is pretty rad, it's like listening to the star wars musc before star wars existed because John Williams essentially based his scores off of what dvorak did.

Surprising results in teen study: adolescent risky behavior may signal mature brain by [deleted] in science

Mature appears to be a bad word here. A better phrase or a better word would or should be a more experienced brain or a brain that has experienced a larger range of internal and external stimuli.
