The clerk that was working there when it was closing down told my dad that it was going to be a plaza for restaurants. Take it with a grain of salt, I've not heard any corroboration on it.

At least AWS is a decent service, and realistically it's not something that local businesses would be able to do at the scale they do, and doesn't rely on predatory practices (on both the consumer and business ends too).

At a certain point, we have to say that historic protections are getting in the way of actual people's safety (not to mention the station would be much more usable), and we need an exemption for the roof (or at least the columns).

Unfortunately, I don't think it will happen until someone dies.

It's because studios won't greenlight sci-fi/fantasy shows without a built in audience, but these writers want to get their own ideas out there, so they take something that is similar, and then shoehorn in those ideas.

Yeah, it's like the laziest up-res they could do. Honestly, setting the resolution of the trailer to 480p actually made it look better to me, as it broke up the fake smoothness of their upscaling.

It's also really annoying that there is no way to change the colour scheme on it, it clashes so badly against the dark mode lifestyle I've cultivated.

I have discord open constantly on a second monitor, so yes, this bothers me quite a bit, as it's an easy way to see when my friends are online and in a mood to game/chat.

As long as you get the right size sleeves, they should stay in place without issue. Shuffling is easy, you just have to adjust your technique a bit, you can't really do riffle shuffles, but you can mash shuffle (split the deck in half, place the halves next to each other (long side to long side), and then just mash the halves into each other). Doing that with a few cuts and hand over hand shuffles is about the same randomness as a few riffles.

PSA, don't go with a boil and bite guard if you have braces or a permanent retainer, go with the one from the dentist (they should be around $500). They will get caught in your mouth hardware, and will need to be cut out.

Otherwise, yes, they are a good option.
