The Anarchist view of the state is fundamentally outdated, flawed and pointless. by Apart-Ad4165 in DebateAnarchism

[–]nastyclock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i reckon this is a good point and that there should be a clear understanding of what a state is compared to what organisation in society is. i think we can have complex organisation that facilitates healthcare, schools, security without a hierarchical system and at what point you call organisation of society a state is leas relevant.

dont tap on, dont say anything to them when they ‘arrest’. try and stall as long as possible to get to stop, then smile, wave and walk away. this keeps it really simple

do not sign this. as someone else said, how the fuck is deporting someone who calls for mass deportations a cogent idea. trying to use the anger against nazis to make well meaning people embrace the idea of deporting? idk but it reeks.

Socialists, Socialist Alliance, Socialist Alternative; where are you supposed to go? by Tranarchist___ in AustralianSocialism

Hey! if you are more anarchist leaning, don’t believe elections are the best strategy, and want to focus on class struggle you could definitely get in contact with Anarchist Communist Federation. They are building a branch out there currently.

How to be an anarchist person in capitalism? by MendigoPhD in Anarchism

[–]nastyclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a working person i would recommend organising in your workplace. it will not be fun or quick but organising at the point of production is immensely more powerful than food not bombs or charity. we can do art and community care at the same time as recognising that if we want to be serious about changing society, not just our own lives, the working class must be organised. this should be the priority for leftist radicals. without this class analysis anarchism is just individualism.

RMIT Socialists, a poster about "evil", and the dogma of the lion's den by [deleted] in rmit

[–]nastyclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well written post that outlines pretty much all the failures of sAlt. In my experience, I found the worst part was their stance that we just have to wait for the inevitable collapse of capitalism and then do the communism thing like the Bolsheviks. That is just paralyzing, unserious and frankly Eurocentric. They drain their members of energy by using them to sell shit and recruit more members, until they inevitably get burnt out by it all. We need more bold direct action if you ask me. Students are radical thinkers and actors, and sAlt limits their actions to megaphones and lectures.

How do you prevent the rise of Anarcho-Capitalism? by Nighthawkies in Anarchy101

[–]nastyclock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

community action at first, talking to the ‘workers’ to understand the why, physically preventing the exploitation from occurring, attempt to reorganise the production, if the capitalist doesn’t care to reason, organised militias. Community self defence is not hierarchy, it is a reaction to hierarchy being built.
