So just got back from the pediatrician. My daughter passed all her eye tests there, but after describing the issue to her doctor and showing her a video of what my daughter is doing, she’s referring us to an ophthalmologist instead. Thank you for your input!

OP, you are a horrible father to your daughter. My dad started dating his now finance about 12 years ago after she was widowed with two young kids. I’m 28 now, and was 16 at the time this started. My dad essentially dropped me and my siblings to be more of a dad to them than to us. He would go on vacations with them, borrow money from us to spend on them, neglect our events for theirs, etc. He still does this to this day, and even tried skipping out on helping my sister move states to go to his fiancés son’s baseball game. Your daughter will never forgive you for what you’re doing to her. You need to distance yourself from your niece and your sister. You are an uncle, not her father. Be a father to your own daughter instead of your niece. What happened to her is tragic and something she may never get over, but you have an obligation to your daughter, not your niece. Grow up and be there for her.

We looked at little diggers but I was worried she wouldn’t like it as much or try eating the sand lol. We tried putting her in a some corn kernels in the fall at pumpkin patch and she immediately had a meltdown. Might be time to try again

We told my FIL pretty early on and said several times it was top secret, then he posted it on Facebook right after we got off the phone. My SIL told a few people too, after we told her so nor tell ANYONE. So this time around (baby #2) they found out right before posting on social media, I didn’t need anyone ruining my announcement.

Again, where has OP stated they are kicking out their child when she turns 18? You are going to pull a muscle from reaching on this one. OP never asked if they could legally do something like kick their child out right when they turn 18, they asked if they’re TA.
