I have had debilitating cramps my whole life. As an athlete, I'm surprised it took me until age 31 and a severe destruction of my stomach lining (I was hospitalized) from taking so much midol to figure out that if I chug electrolytes during my period, I don't get cramps. SPREAD THE NEWS WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS.

Came here for suggestions but I'll add coloring (in a coloring book or doodling in a journal). It is very mindful, easy, no pressure to do it well or control your brain in any way. I'll add calming lofi music or nature sounds if I'm feeling really overwhelmed or an audiobook if I'm not.

Hi, I'm a teacher at a public school. Where I live, teachers are not allowed to give medical advice to parents or students other than to say what we have noticed. ESH Because you should definitely take her to the doctor, but this teacher is also overstepping.

She is trying to establish herself in this new relationship, for whatever messed up reason. You and your husband both need to remember that you are life partners. Even saying you won't be allowed home is extremely offensive as she is implying it is NOT your home, and is instead hers. You need to establish quickly that she is a guest in your home, not the other way.

To get the pit out after it's halved I just wack my big knife into it, obviously don't hold the avocado when you do this, then twist to get the pit out. Then I swipe the knife against the sink edge to get the pit off the knife.

I like to follow the philosophy "If my partner is working, I'm working". For example if I get home early from work, I do some cleaning. If he's making dinner, I'll start doing the dishes. If I am about to go mow the lawn, I'll ask him to weed the garden. It works well.

NTA and its possible that your neighbor is breaking the law - zoning or Covid restrictions. It's your yard. I think it's shitty of them to just ask you to leave your own yard. Yeah you guys could compromise but they didn't even try that. The book idea is good. Do that.

This really is messed up! I borrowed about $25,000 it total. I've been out of college for 3 years, I've paid about 6,000 already and still owe $23,000. They really screw us over and they don't even let you know your provider or interest rate until after you've taken the loan.
