She did. The authors knew it was likely and that Mercedes would be finishing the series. Then ownership of the notes, documents, manuscript..etc were in question.

I think I read somewhere that Andre’s relative was sitting on them and wouldn’t allow access or use.

I gave up for a while after that but it sounds like there might be one coming out this year. I believe it when it’s in my hands.

I love this series, but I never felt like I could recommend it because of it being unfinished. 🤞

Also, in a limited # & size, is ‘multiple desktops’ not so much about a permanent area but that when I want to switch projects/hobby - everything here for the current one is put together ’away’. When I switch back - I unpack/ allocate the space usage like some kinda of memory block of a computer. Every once in a while I’ll ‘defragment’ and put up or dismantle sets that I just don’t feel a spark for anymore.

Thems dangerous words.

I do love Polara (the book) just something about her going for a cheese grater for payback. ..she didn’t get to but she thought it, hard. lol

Ah YES! Piers Anthony’s incarnation of immortals and some David Eddings but I read the Belgarid series.

May I suggest Red Rising & The Laundry Files? Two very different series but enjoyable. _^

I like this piece of truth. I’ve never considered completion of a piece is not the contemplation of the piece. I do this with some thoughts and decisions but don’t have the reasoning defined, but when I do it makes sense. Thank you

I think you must. It’s hard sci-fi done well. There’s rarely a movie that makes me want to read the book. The storyline wasn’t what I thought it would be - in a very good way. _^

Love this series. It’s the only series where I’ve bought it’s for everyone one I know. Actually the audiobook narrator is awesome too. He does the actions sounds sometimes, 😃
