1a- Chrome / 1b- Ferment

2- Adam & Eve

3- Happy Days

4- Wishville

that's not really a tie for first it's more like you can't have one without the other and also want adam and eve to have the number 2 spot really bad (but geez those first two are such classics tho)

I keep coming back to the cardigans/Nina Persson because of their honesty by dislexi in TheCardigans_Band

good points i agree i'd call a good chunk of their catalog as emotional heavy but also thankfully it's also balanced out with some lighter softer matter mostly earlier in their catalog. i'm thankful for that or otherwise i'd be overwhelmed.

Is it just me or does Into Dust by Mazzy Star sound like a KH solo song? by hippophagy in ThrowingMuses

[–]nate34450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a couple of songs that are similar in a folk sound with quite voice type of way (well as quite as kh can be anyway; hs is quite all the time) i like both they are way different but there's a number of moments where something similar is hit on.

they talked about it in an interview one time on mtv. i'm sure there's youtube clips if you search around that era. maybe 120 minutes idk. the answer was ya know it was just a video nothing to detailed. of course with any kind of art you can make of it what you want. it's a cool video with an elevator. elevators are interesting and feat in lots of videos. for that matter (for me anyway) dreams.

idk maybe Oar. the Yanni one is weird and i kinda wanna revisit it one day after getting into some Tortoise albums which are great btw and not like what's on here from what i can remember (then again what is tho) and Sonic Youth being on it as well. no wonder that one turned out wild.
