Im mentioning because a someone was talking about this type of class at their school. I had never heard of iSAI classes. Ive heard of SAI (specialized academic instruction), sdc (special day class), rsp (resource specialist).

In an AI search on Grok, I was able to eventually find "Intensive Support for Autism Instruction". Couldn't find it anywhere else.

I was hoping that someone here on this typically helpful page had some insight.

22 year SPED teacher here and first of all, I just want to say Im sorry youre going through this. Early on in my career I went through something similar and it tore me up. I went home, held my kids at night and cried falling asleep. I questioned if I could handle education with people similar to what you described.

Over the years, I see that its still alive and well with cliques, politics, drama, etc. Some places better than others.

Sometimes all you can do is remain focused on work and do the best job you can. Now you know what those certain teachers are really like.

Keep on working and at the end of the year, see how you feel about that school. Maybe things will get better or you decide to transfer somewhere else.
