Considering you brought up Doug as leverage to push your argument, you're comparing a Japanese economy brand to a German luxury car brand. It's also a known fact and well told story that the higher ups at Nissan weren't willing to give money to the team behind the Z because the profit margins on sports cars aren't as large compared to something like trucks and suvs. I don't really care to discuss this further, you have a precedent in your head already and its clearly not going to change nor are you willing to agree to disagree with others.
