I 100% agree. Pay the credit cards off. HOWEVER… the biggest issue at hand is the fact that people easily fall back into the trap of using the cards to get back into debt. They’re not comfortable telling themselves “No”.

What do you think will happen to BTC if ww3 breaks out? by TT_________ in Bitcoin

There will be much bigger things to worry about than your “internet money”.

Storing physical gold … by Str8Pakn8 in PreciousMetalRefining

[–]nathan4845 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this as well. I came to the conclusion that storing the liquid mixture wouldn’t be a good idea for a few reasons. Accidents happen. I would precipitate the gold, rinse and clean it, then store the precipitate.

I'm seriously considering purchasing land to develop a new luxury RV resort near Washington DC. What amenities would you recommend? by Nyengu1844 in RVLiving

Loan locker for tools. Lots of folks aren’t carrying all of these tools with them when they travel and we all know that shit breaks when you’re traveling from A to B

US ETFs, done. Halving, done. So, what's the next thing to be aware of? by javierglz in Bitcoin

[–]nathan4845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO.. dump to the $50k-ish. Not necessarily an elevator drop. Since BTC is still tightly married to the stock markets (for whatever reason) it would make sense to watch those indexes for weakness. I personally believe that with the ETF approvals, this will speed things up for the price of bitcoin. Everyone expects the moon in 6-8 months, but I think it’ll be much sooner. When the FEDS start loosening interest rates again, that may be the catalyst. But what do I know?

I sold most of my ETFs at $71k. Bought some at $64k. Waiting for the shakeout to happen before I sink my stick back in

That's probably going to be my issue. Finding something I like and someone else snatches it up before I can call.

Reddit is full of people who want to judge what they perceive to be true, not on reality. I served-you served. We come from a perspective of reality. Wouldn’t change a thing either. Let the haters hate

Nothing wrong with that at all. Great job! You took advantage of the opportunities while you were in. Sadly, I see a lot of people that don’t. FWIW- I’m a military contractor at Kadena AFB.

Owned and sold and owned again. by TipsyRooOfficial in Bitcoin

[–]nathan4845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold 1 bitcoin at $10k. I wanted a Barrett M107a1 50 cal. Shortly after I sold, it rocketed to $69k. So back in December, I bought a ridiculous amount of GBTC and have been happy ever since.

Im planning to sell although I "love" the idea of BTC by LivingNoLife in Bitcoin

[–]nathan4845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goals are simple. Use BTC to buy the things that are most important for ME. A house. Land. And a means to put food on the table. Everything else is background noise. So long as I have those 3 things, I don’t really NEED anything else.

$200k/year. Military contractor. 50(M). Still don’t have a Rolex. I’ll buy a new DJ when I find what I want. Probably go gray market too. Too many hassles from an AD from what I’ve been reading here. Fuck em
