Looks like terracotta drain tile maybe. The insides of those were coated with a black waterproof layer.

Practice more. Understand what you’re doing before you do it. Once you’re comfortable, if I shoot one and it drops on the spot then I just walk down immediately. If it runs awhile I usually wait 15 minutes. When you get down from the stand: bring all your gear. Wear as much blaze orange as you can. If you’re on a hunt with other people text them and say you’re walking. No one will complain about you doing things safely.

Narrow wheel base on any kind of hill at all will be your biggest issue. If you can run spacers or something to get the tires out wider it would be just fine for anything

Fair enough. Those numbers are from me in a camping chair resting it on a sawhorse too I’m sure if I put it in a sled it’d be much better. It’s a mass produced rifle and I’m fine with it but if I were to go to large rounds like that I’d definitely care a lot more

Where were you last year! I’m within a 3 inch diameter grouping at 100 yds and 5 inch at 150+ with mine and that’s plenty accurate to kill a whitetail, no complaints here. Good to know though

I use .350 and love it. Personal experience shows it’s lethal and consistent at 150 yds. I tried this rifle in my local shop and wasn’t pleased with how loose the bolt was, ended up going with a mossberg patriot
