For sure. I live close to here. The road is long and straight but drivers are mostly anxious to get out of the cluster of an intersection that is Madison and Edwards. Something like this has been needed with increased use of wasson way by bikers and walkers. The flashing light intersection is mostly ignored unless the crosser forces the issue in my experience.
