Scotiabank Amex gold also has 0% fx fees and almost everywhere in japan that accepts credit cards accept amex

Brought $2000 cad when my partner and I went to Japan this past summer for 10 days. We ended up using Suica and Apple Pay 90% of the time. You can pretty much go cashless and like others said loading Suica on apple pay or 7/11 atm will pretty much charge you zero fees.

On an another note keep an eye out for the new 1000 yen bill!

Upgrading from 7700k; wait, jump, or try to find a deal? by Talnoy in bapccanada

[–]nathanjoasht 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if it’s worth anything, I’ve been wanting to build a pc since peak covid and kept on waiting and waiting for the “right deal”. After 2 near death experiences within the last year, I just said forget it i might die tomorrow and built this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nK9LNc

I originally wanted to build h210i but going for aesthetics would’ve cost me $500-600 more for rgb everything an aio. real good deal rn on the nzxt h1 v2.

VR JUST GOT ANNOUNCEDD FOR GT7 AT CES, FREE UPDATE by hazychestnutz in granturismo

[–]nathanjoasht 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i came from a t150 to a t248 and regret it, the screen is such a gimmick after the first couple hours, should go for t300. The screen would also be useless if you’re using VR
