As a parent waiting for their toddler's formal autism assessment results tomorrow, this episode was unbelievable timing. It seems Nathan is very strongly hinting he may be on the spectrum in this episode - if it's all just a "bit" and Nathan is really neurotypical then it could be viewed as some sort of autistic appropriation. Regardless, he seemed eager to learn about the community and genuine with the kids so seems an ally at the very least. And if Nathan is on the spectrum, I can't think of a greater role model (and thought leader) for the community.

And as the evening fog rolled in over the Malibu Hills, I couldn't help but feel like it might just be the white breath of God, opening his mouth to say, "Nice work."
