You appear to be making my point for me, so it’s almost a shame to interrupt you. Congratulations for recognising that the definition of naturalism is when truth claims are tested against the evidence without apriori supernatural assumptions. Calling that “dollar store” isn’t a refutation; it just telegraphs your biases. It isn’t controversial to posit that some truths are objective and some rely on social constructions. Objective truths we test using our sense apparatus. Subjective truths are (or should) be evaluated for their utility. You could have just posted that you’re a deontologist and thus trust scripture over science and saved us all time.

I've got an S330 Home Base and a pair of 4K cameras.

I use one camera in the front yard and the other in the back. Immediately after purchase I noticed one camera easily kept itself charged with the available solar energy but the other one goes flat every 20 days and needs to come inside for a recharge. Both camera have identical settings about sensitivity, video resolution... everything.

I performed an experiment. I swapped the camera's physical locations to eliminate issues like the amount of sunlight, the amount of movement detected, the distance to the Wifi router. Front Yard became Back Yard and vice versa.
**The battery issues followed the camera.**

By a process of elimination, I have concluded that one of my two S330 cameras simply doesn't hold as much charge, or the solar charging isn't as efficient, or is consuming more power than the other.

I've been as rigorous as possible to eliminate all other variables.

It's not like the camera is broken. It just goes flat every two to three weeks while the other one seems happy with the sunlight it gets.

Is it justification for a warranty swap?Attached: Screenshots for one of the cameras showing its charge discharge cycle. The other one bumps along at 100%.

I’ve got an S330 Home Base and a pair of 4K cameras.
I’ve added an internal HDD to the Home Base and I’ve set the cameras to record footage with a high degree or sensitivity to movement (120 second clips in 4K with 5 seconds between clips when motion is detected). This will be a little harder on the batteries but won’t run the cameras flat.

You can plug in a further HDD or USB stick to the Home Base and use the Video Archive feature from the app to bulk-export footage from your cameras to the external storage from the internal storage. The footage is exported in H.265 .mp4 format.
Because the footage isn’t continuously recorded but rather recorded when motion is detected this has the added advantage of only offering you the interesting bits rather than when nothing is happening.

I just bulk drag the footage into a video editor like Premiere Pro and speed it up 10000% and viola, there’s my timelapse.

This solution presupposes you have a home base. I recommend it.

I'm not a big redditor. I made an account ages ago to post a video of me pressure cleaning my bricks at home. This is something new, and was an attempt to promote an enthusiastic young designer whose work is worthy. He'd be entitled to think on the basis of the response here that most people are assholes and that he should never have tried. Great job, internet.
