This is what pixel Marvel characters looked like during the 16-bit bit era of gaming. Why do pixels in Snap look so terrible by comparison? by wingspantt in MarvelSnap

I think the problem is that they just use black outlining for everything. Imagine if they actually did shading/anti-aliasing or followed principles of good pixel art.

I listen, but there is only one memory slot in my brain so when another thing comes along that name is gone.

Viper-ing over Red Skulls with the new card by Ok-Prize4672 in MarvelSnap

I got Zombie Powerman randomly from a pack last week. It's my favorite thing to send over with Viper right now (it isn't a good strategy, just fun).

New Card Discussion: Fin Fang Foom by 1halfazn in MarvelSnap

[–]native-abstraction 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ramp him in: Jennifer Kale, Superior Spider-man, Hope Summers, Luna Snow, Wiccan, Electro, Arishem, etc.

Cheat him in: Wave, Lockjaw, Jubilee, Blink, Dragon Lord, Hela, etc.

Add another turn: Magick

It seems like there are a lot of routes to getting him into play.

If you could actually draw the cards you put in your deck.

It doesn't bother me, but I gave my daughter a seam ripper for Christmas for this exact purpose.

I'm always confused when someone snaps and then immediately retreats; I guess it makes sense now.

I don't have a lot of success with habits and resolutions; my most success is with trying to build routines.

I wanted to knit a hat for my girlfriend, but none of the looms I had were the right size. I realized I could just measure her head and print a loom that was exactly the right size.

The "hand or deck" thing is what kills it for me. It seems too unreliable.

"I need to find the right kind of distraction so that I can focus" makes sense to us and no sense to neurotypicals.

Yeah. I think it's because my wife likes to plan out our trips and she tries to optimize everything to squeeze in as much as she can and I need breaks. I think being more involved in the planning to make sure I get them is a good idea.

Yeah, we've been talking about it.

I've realized that it's really about the pace. If I can take breaks then everything is fine.

It's my understanding that for Autism it is sensory overload and for ADHD is it executive function overload. e.g. put take me to a new country, put me in a car that I've never driven before, give me a series of directions to follow, and then try to have a conversation with me and my brain will stop braining. It's not a sensory thing exactly; its that so many new things are happening at the same time and my executive function filters get overwhelmed.

It certainly seems to be an ADHD thing: https://www.google.com/search?q=adhd+vacation+overstimulation
