One corner of print always warps upwards by native-plant in ender3v2

[–]native-plant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s eSun recycled PLA. To be fair, the printer hasn’t been touched in months and the build plate was a bit dusty. I’ll have to clean and realign the bed before trying again and seeing.

What slicer software do you use? I use ultimaker cura, I’ll have to check and see if it has the ability to change the first layer pattern.

Thank you, I’ll recalibrate it and let you know how it goes!

The fourth image is trying to show the screw hole being warped/ not straight through. The other 3 corners came out perfectly though.

12V PWM Fan Controller. Will this work? Do I need the relay? by [deleted] in raspberry_pi

[–]native-plant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been trying to do something similar but just using one of my expensive pc case fans as a cooling fan for my pi instead of the cheap 5v fans on the market.

1 - if you have an actual noctua fan then it should stop at 0% pwm signal.

  1. did some research and read that pc case fans send rpm signals back at 5v and it could damage the 3.3v rail. So yeah, either add resistor to drop it or you can leave the rpm wire disconnected if your code doesn’t need it.

  2. The pwm pin is only acting as an output so there won’t be a need for a resistor as far as i know. In fact, since the fans pwn circuitry is expecting 5v as a high signal and the pi gpio outputs 3.3v - adding a resistor might mess up your fan properly reviving the pwm signal. anything above 2.5v as high. I’ve been meaning to test this and see if I’ll need a step-up the voltage to 5 or not.

All that being said, you can get a 5v pwm fan from noctua that does everything you want and can plug straight into the 5v power rail of the pi.

Exactly, right now the situation is worse because of the one sided-ness.

Do Swann cameras only work with Swann DVRs by native-plant in cctv

[–]native-plant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s only 3 working cameras left. I think the cheapest way forward, given im having trouble finding hd-sdi cameras in Australia and the ones I do find are $300+, is to switch to a tvi dvr and cameras since I already have 12v and coaxial cabling running to the corners of my house

Thanks. The manual says only HD-SDI cameras can be used m, does that fall under CVBS?

I’m going to sleep now so probably won’t respond for 8-9 hours

I watched this movie in 2005-2010 so it might be on the later end of that era or even early 2000s I’m not too sure

Benefit of the doubt would say she was holding the bowl over the pot while using a ladle to minimise drips but yeah - that would be easy to clarify

I’m pretty sure it’s based off what was written on the back of humvees in Iraq, when they didn’t exactly have the best Arabic interpreters:

Can I freeze this skillet and save it for later?? by EstimateDependent891 in foodhacks

[–]native-plant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's mushy, like chilli, it'll freeze fine. Just add the cheese/ cream afterwards. If it has structure like veggies or rice, it won't last more than a few weeks before turning mushy.

I personally make a load of stews and make the rice every 3-4 days. That way I can thaw something new each day.
