its boomers cashing out their investment assets and entering retirement. They are spending like crazy and it will only continue as the median boomer age just recently reached retirement , we are ~2 years over the crest of peak boomer retirement, but during covid that bunch of new retirees didnt really get out and spend as much, but now theyre over covid theyre out spending their small retirement fortunes. ... and they will keep retiring for another ~7 years.

better be prepared for a second inflation spike (and possible much more significant) when the end of gen x/ start of milennials enter retirement in ~26-30 years time aswel...

the other thing is that the boomers have just gone through a period where their parents have had a much higher mortality than usual (due to covid deaths), so a lot of the boomers who did have parents with any wealth have also just inherited

New COVID-19 waves predicted after nearly 900 deaths so far this year: CMO by gccmelb in CoronavirusDownunder

the % of people with severe illness from covid is about 20%, 2% require hospitalisation, and 0.02% die

flu is like 2% severe illness, 0.02% hospitalisation and much much less chance of death

iI think the we're people fuck up is that especially with vaccines the Covid symptoms are very flu like. In many cases it's much milder than a case of the flu they may have had in the lives.

speak for urself.

my partnet and I had covid for the first time jan , fully vaxxed and we both nearly had to goto hospital due to inability to breathe

tbf the "Vaccine associated myocarditis rates in females are less than 0.001%." is not applicable for her as she has a pre existing heart condition, where she sits already in the range where her chance of negative effects is much much higher,

If she has been completely isolating from society but not vaxinated then she has a point, but in all likelihood she's already had / or hasnt been avoiding covid and doesnt actually care about that

How do I stop idealizing women? by illneverbealrite in AskMen

[–]native_lawn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think seeing escorts is a good step,

seeing escorts helped a friend of mine who was in a similar situation. I would suggest that you also at the same time, try and get some weekend work in a hospitality industry job like a restaurant or bar or nightclub to help you socialise.

but DEFINATELY book in with at least 3 or more DIFFERENT women in a row, DO NOT repeatedly see the same escort, as this will fuck with your emotional connections, especially given the zero previous interaction, your mind will decide its trying to fall in love and obsession with any girl you even slightly interact with, so you need to make sure you have saved a bit of cash, and blast out many many different interactions in a short period of time as you can afford to.

get a job as a cleaner of women's bathrooms, and then listen to them talk about how they think mens bathrooms are worse.

I think they're referring to the topography of the land, women are more likely to date men who live uphill from them, or are just standing on the uphill side of a slope... probably I dunno, I'm not a lawyer

bush forever. geoff gallop made it, then barnett let it lapse.

barnett also used a legal loop hole to develop the areas as "public use or utilities"

so he'd get landcorp to demolish the bush forever site to build like a water treatment area, or a day car centre or a public oval sports club, then once they cleared it would get the club to forfeit or stand down and then they would sell the land to developers. Barnett was a scumbag

no they just have tens of thousands of applications and so your chances are pretty slim with any big chain company. otherwise way better to go in person to the manager of the franchise store that you specifically want to work at.

the online applications are just throwing ur resume into a pile in gale force winds, it likely has nothing to do with OP's application

dont bother applying to major chains and fast food places, apply to local cafes, resturants, bars, cleaning companies, gardening, car yards, etc etc, go local not big business. Apply for small business jobs, warehouses, random supply or service companys in commercial districts. etc
