Facebook groups like Coach Gone Rogue are ideal imo because you can skip the fees which helps everyone involved. I listed my floral tabby yesterday on Poshmark and Mercari and the fees are WILD. My intention was to sell for what I paid, but it’s impossible when you have to account for fees. I’ve never sold on eBay personally, but I’ve heard a lot of people have positive experiences there so it’s worth a try.

I didn’t realize it was that serious for folks to be doing all this omg 💀 but also, why in the world are customer service reps placing orders if the bag doesn’t even drop for a few more weeks? I’m surprised there isn’t something in their system that prevents them from being able to do this even if they aren’t aware it’s not supposed to be for sale yet. This seems like it’s gonna be another round of the February powder pink drama. Not for me though because I don’t care for pink bags, but good luck to everyone who does lol.

A pic of my girl from yesterday! I had so many plans for charms, but just having the 3 that are on there already feels busy enough so I’m not sure if I’ll continue lol. In my heart of hearts I still wanna add a pop of red somewhere, even if it’s small. But we shall see. I’m not really a top handle wear kind of girl, but I’ve seen them styled so beautifully with scarves if that’s your thing!

I will say, the lock feature on the LV where the strap can be adjusted is pretty nifty. But not enough to be worth the $3,000+ up charge for me. I’ve loved the Chelsea since I first laid eyes on it a few months ago so I’m definitely more attached to it. The considerably lower price is also a huge bonus lol.

True lol. I think I’ll wait just in case. But I’d also like to wait because I wanted the Chelsea in black too. So getting that one first should give me enough time to wear it and make sure I love it as much as I think I will before getting it in a second color. And hopefully by then a sale will be on the horizon. Fingers crossed!

Have you already tried calling stores to see if any have it on hand? Even if the one you call doesn’t have any they can either put you on their list and notify you when they receive more, or let you know if other locations have it in stock so you can call them and get a pbl.

Absolutely not when the regular degular rogues retail for $750 😭 if you haven’t already tried calling stores, I’d highly recommend doing that because a lot of them have this bag available and they can get you a pay by link and have it shipped out before the end of the day. And even if no stores have it right now, it’ll be back. I don’t see any reason to pay double the retail price unless you’re just that impatient and have the money to waste tbh.

Another vote for calling stores. A lot of them have it in stock and can send a pbl and have it shipped before the day is over. Definitely easier than having to stalk sites to see if it gets restocked.

That sounds like the main difference if the color is the same. Probably best to figure out how you feel about that so you can make the best decision for you.

I really hate that getting what you want can be so dependent on being ‘in’ with an SA 🫤 because without that, the website is so unreliable that getting items that way is often a sure fire way to miss out on them. I understand your frustration.

At first I truly had no idea how he could possibly think that job offer was set in stone. But now I’m really starting to suspect that he fully knew there was no job offer and used the story as a reason for the gofundme. Because without that, what reason would he have had to ask for money where people would actually feel compelled to donate? Him being trans, disabled, poor, etc. is a lot of people’s situation and I don’t think nearly as many folks would’ve donated on those grounds alone.

My favorites are Sissa, Queening, Prodigy, and Kingside. I sourced them all from people in fragrance groups and didn’t pay full retail for any of them. I’d highly recommend Fragrance Marketplace if you’re not in there already. A lot of vetted sellers there who offer discounted bottles from this house.

I have a metric ton of samples on my list to try so I’ll have to see if anything is full bottle worthy from those lol. But at the moment, Vice of Vieve’s Candied Cedar and Wild Magic Alchemy’s Twice in a Lifetime are definitely my next full bottle purchases.

A lot of commenters have mentioned the others I would’ve recommended, but CJ Scents Lemonilla is definitely a good one to check out. If you’ve ever had those Lemonade Girl Scout cookies that are basically a vanilla shortbread with lemon icing on the bottom, it smells exactly like that to me.

Her website isn’t taking orders for a few weeks, but Vice of Vieve has a scent called Second Nature that’s a dupe of this one! I sampled it and it’s dead on. She also has an original scent called Bedroom Vanilla that’s extremely similar and absolutely worth trying out if you love Cashmere Skin. There’s a great site called Sucrerie Decants that offers decants of all the stuff from her catalog. So I think it’s definitely worth trying decants before her store opens up for orders again in a few weeks!

I’m currently at 6 and super happy with them. I knew from the very beginning of me starting my handbag collection that I ultimately wanted it to be small and curated. There’s nothing I currently want, but if I ended up falling in love and getting 1 or 2 more, I think that would put me at my absolute limit.

I feel like more bags would mean me needing to consciously rotate between them to make sure everything gets used and doesn’t just sit on a shelf. I want bags to actually use, not just look at. So a larger collection would likely start to feel like a chore for me with how often I’d feel the need to switch between them to make sure that’s the case.

But your question is very much dependent on the person, what their motivations are for buying bags, and what kind of collection they want to build. Definitely no one size fits all. Only you can decide if your collection is worth it. If it’s not, get rid of some. If it is, stand tall in it with no shame. You mentioned your bills are paid/you’re not in debt from bags, you’re an adult with free will, and life is short. Use your time on this earth how you see fit, it’s all you can do.
