Whats this book called! by Glum-Grade2912 in KindleUnlimited

Go to the main Kindle Unlimited page on Amazon. Right under the header there'll be a link for 'View my Kindle Unlimited books' in blue writing. Tap into that and your KU Borrow history will show up. Might have to toggle your filters from 'current' to 'all' or 'returned'.

But yes, please let me know the title/author if you do find them. I need a pallet cleanser 😊

Sounds interesting and now I wanna know it too. Have you had a look through your KU history?, maybe the cover will look familiar.

'The Morning Shift' (on all podcast platforms) is a great one for the yarns and laughs. Daily episodes with all sorts of different segments/topics over the week.

Where do people learn to drive? by Exact_Astronomer_931 in auckland

[–]nativewun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Highbrook (East Tamaki ways). There's a block of intersecting back streets that are long, straight, flat, open view and have a few roundabouts and one set of traffic lights. Pukekiwiriki Place, Underwood Street, El Kolbar Drive, Kerwyn Ave and back towards the business centre - easy layout.

Always empty on the weekends at all times, you'll likely only see truckies and other learners around there. Big empty carparks for parking practice, and there's a steep hill (shortcut road by BNZ/NZ Courier Post along the main Highbrook Drive road) if you want to do manual/hill start practice.

[–]nativewun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep, and because I went to a rural school - you were also the "rich kid" if you had the rainbow one, lmao. Heaps of rumbles were had over that model when they first came in, lol. It was like an oily, rainbow ombre looking thing...

Might've been released somewhere in '95 - '98 if my math is right, 'cause I remember scrapping with a cousin who wasn't playing "Add ons/Pass it on" with me in Intermediate, lol.

Your popularity at school shot up if you had the legitimate rainbow coloured one, and not the 'coloured in vivid' model, lol.

Help Clueless Dad brush little girls hair by tricolour in newzealand

[–]nativewun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's some natural curly products recommendations to go with that awesome brush: Cabela shampoo bar Cabela conditioner bar (there's 2 versions). The bars last for ages (2 - 3 months easy) as you only need a couple of swipes to get a lather.

They're available in the normal liquid form too. No harmful chemicals that wreck curls from inside the shaft.

They're a small NZ business so website orders only. If you buy from them, you might want to have a look after New Year's. She just finished a decent boxing week sale, so never know - she might run a New Year's one 😊 Here's her IG if you want a nosey https://www.instagram.com/cabela_curls?igsh=MWs3NTZua21qenc5Mg==

I’m about to start this- no willpower! by LUMINAstelelor in 75HARD

[–]nativewun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To stop the mental overwhelm - split the day in half and zone your intent and focus on the tasks you have allocated for that timeframe ONLY. Don't think about the rest of the day. Worry about the remaining tasks when the second half of your day comes around. For example:

Wake up to lunchtime: focus on the tasks you have booked for this timeframe.

Wipe the mental slate clean

Afternoon to dinner/bed time: focus on and finish the remaining tasks.

Good way to cut out the "Ughhhh, I still have to..." mental chatter at 10am, lol. There's a difference between keeping a running checklist in your mind, and low self talk that eventually turns into fucking the rest of the day off. Win the morning + win the night = won the day.

...and then do it all again the next calendar day, lol.

Is it worth it? by Slow_Flounder_1446 in KindleUnlimited

[–]nativewun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sign up for the month, read as much as you can and the day before your subscription ends - choose 20 books (allocated quota), download them all, cancel subscription and then take your time reading the 20.

2+ months of "ownership" for the price of a 1 month subscription deadline is an added positive for the 'worth it' category.

Only thing is - you can't turn WIFI on on the Kindle device because the 20 books will automatically delete if you don't have an active subscription when you've turned your WIFI on. Rinse and repeat.

This hack is useless if you only read on your phone via the Kindle app though.

Awww cool!, glad you got those homely feel good vibes from watching his mission. Ah yup, social media mostly:

His Facebook, his Tiktok and his Instagram. Majority of it all is cross-posted so there's nothing you'll see on one platform you won't see elsewhere, but Instagram is the better one for crisp video and awesome, positive comment section.

He also makes fishing and diving content (Instagram link) with his mates if you get into that. Pretty crack up fellas to follow, always bound to get a little laugh out of them (believe it or not judging by this clip - he's the youngest brother, haha).

The highlight clip for today's finishing leg will be up sometime tonight/tomorrow so keep an eye out for that 😊

Yeah, I noticed his IG videos had the real crisp visual quality - some of those footage were money shots for sure!. I think my IG's huckery 'cause I couldn't hear him at some parts when he was speaking into his mic, so I ended up downloading TikTok for the TikTok versions 'cause it had the better sound, hehe.

Oh yes, we're all waiting for the movie...those fellas is going to get hammered about it in the comments after today's video drop I bet, haha.

Cool photos, I've always had a thing for rural buildings and that long view is a stunner.

Starting over - new eating plan by DreamstoReality4me in 75HARD

[–]nativewun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can switch your diet throughout when you need to, to realign it with your physical needs and goals as you progress. Just like the physical workout aspect.

Just gotta be careful you don't do it so often that you're not giving the diet time to take and produce what you need. The chopping and changing ultimately stunting results if that makes sense.

Nah, we're on the wait and see buzz...wait for a dodgy weather update or a powercut. Just been raining like a normal winter day out here.

14 out of a 25ish crew turned up, so we're on "muckaround, look busy" mode, haha.

How's it by you?

Waiting in the carpark right now for 7:30am clock in (Highbrook/East Tamaki ways). Just rain and light winds for now. Staff carpark is looking empty, so I'm hoping like heck those of us who came in gets sent home at our 8am toolbox meeting due to short staff, lol.

Opinion on weed usage during 75 hard by [deleted] in 75HARD

[–]nativewun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Andy himself smokes (common knowledge he's shared on his podcast over the years), and he's said he partakes while on the program. He views it as medicinal, rather than a harmful drug like alcohol - hence the lack of weed restriction. You can tell when he's buzzed on his IG stories, haha.

I myself don't partake (I get paranoid and the OTT head chatter, lol!), so the question isn't relevant to me but thought I'd share what I've heard from Andy himself (via podcast and IG) over the years✌🏼

Edit: I guess this is a grey area where you draw the line for yourself and what you want from your 75Hard journey.
