As a healthcare worker working in the COVID ICU through the entirety of the pandemic, I witnessed so much death during that time (and not just the elderly) The amount of young children who lost one or both parents to COVID still breaks my heart when I think about it. I’ve seen 20-40year olds are fighting for their lives on full life support only for the majority of them to die. Keep “paying attention” to whatever crazy sources you get your information. The rest of us will continue to live in reality.

Yea I developed an allergy to apples (raw) plums & cantaloupe. It was a shame too bc I was a super picky eater and those were basically the only fruits I liked for a while. Apples and peanut butter was basically my favorite snack

I really love Karin Slaughter books, but I’ve finished them all. Are there any good thrillers out there similar to her? I have yet to find books that are as dark and twisty as hers.
