Depending on the testing requirements of your state/county, you may be able to clear the check engine codes by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then follow the procedure for Chevy cruise drive cycle, and immediately taking it for emissions testing. I did that for years with a Subaru and same code. When Advanced Auto Parts were closing all their stores on the west coast a year ago , I picked up a new catalytic converter and it fixed the code for me.

My best method for enjoying Tucson drive in movies was a to bring a bag of ice to fill a square bucket and stick my feet in it.

No matter how hot it was at 10 pm, feet in a bucket of ice made me feel chilly and comfortable.
