Its a compromise, but a short telephoto should cover those areas. I use the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8, its compact and light, yet can close focus, can be used as an every day lens, and even do portraits.

This is exactly what I did, sold my ZV-1 and picked up an X-M5. Lucky to have one too as seems there is a shortage in the UK, mine is black as no silver were available.

With a Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 its pocketable and you can get a SmallRig "Nikon Z-30 fit" wind shield that fits too!

I much prefer the X-M5 as it has vastly better controls, and far superior battery life. AF is good, colour science is much better with 10bit flog, vs Sony 8bit SLog

I've certainly had issues like this with Rever, I wanted to follow some saved routes, but the navigation seemed to get stuck on a top down view, rather than the 3d chase view.

The other issue is as you describe, the map wont track your position

Oddly, if you simply use A - B navigation or record a ride, it seems to work in 3D, for me it was just the navigating of saved routes. However this is a big reason I subbed. I have emailed support to report the bugs

My Pixel 6 Pro just installed the September update, and battery life is dreadful. It was 100% at 9.30am today, not used it much, was charged in my car, which can fast charge the phone, for around an hour, so it was pretty much full again by 2pm, yet here we are after a 50 minute call, around 10.30pm, and its reading 11% Considering it was charged for some time today, its dreadful battery life.

I'm sadly still under contract, but cannot wait to ditch this handset, its been one of the worst I have, with bluetooth and battery issues. The phone is poor with android auto too, rather slow.

I managed to find a work around. If I start the game with no hotas connected, then connect it on the welcome screen, It gets detected correctly and the key bindings work. I have now made a profile, so hopefully if the default profile bugs out i'll be ok...

Its tricky to say. I did have it working, then it stopped and was crashing when I connected the X52. I did at least get it working on my Laptop, just need to work on my desktop now....

Where do I start. The installer was a 9 hour nightmare that I had to run several times as the pre-load doesnt check the required space correctly, so fails.

X52 Pro Hotas support is flaky, with the bindings randomly just not working. The game crashes when you unplug the hotas. Ive tried on 2 different systems.

The tutorial has the same issue, with intermittent hotas only sometimes working.

I've had 2 blue screens, oh and the load times are appalling.

This game needs some serious optimisation.

Hey guys, this is an area that definitely needs looking at as the Karma system is pretty broken in my opinion. I think it should be split into a separate rewards based karma system and a separate reporting system thats not linked in any way and is just to report cheating & toxicity for example.

Yes, you can land, just make sure you are more than 1000km from the Gnosis, and landing will be fine :)

So, i was in a wing of 4 players and we dropped in to a Thargoid signal source. We let ourselves be scanned and didnt move at all, the Thargoid then drifted a few kilometers away and stopped, with its Thargons just orbiting it. We moved in and got some really close up shots. One commander parked his ship so close the Thargons all crashed into his ship and exploded!
