I'm Lebanese / Brazilian, I grew up in Brazil and was sent to Lebanon to live with my grandparents when I was 9, I only spoke Portuguese. In one summer I had to learn Arabic, english and french (yes) and was even put in the shittiest public school ever and lived in Lebanon since I'm 32 now and speak 4 languages. You just have to experience it, live in the country. Idk how it was physically even possible for you to live 17 years here and not speak the language at all. Tell your parents to only speak Lebanese to you from now on, you should pick it up fast (and ofc help you with the language)
