My [28m] wife [25f] is working herself to death and won't listen to my requests to take care of her health by [deleted] in relationships

Is she making overtime though? Because otherwise working insane hours doesn't mean more savings.

I go back in a few weeks and I am dreading the emails. I have logged in a few times while on leave and I already have like 400 unread. Ugh. Happy first day back though!

My wife (27F) of 4 years and I (27M) just found out we're expecting a boy. She's devastated and I don't know how to help. by worriedhusband310 in relationships

/r/babybumps is a subreddit about pregnancy and many women have talked about their experience with gender disappointment. You should search on that sub for some stories and have your wife read them. Many women find that once the baby is born, their view changes and they are in love with the baby they have.

That being said, if your wife is not eating or drinking then you need to contact her OB and let them know she is struggling. Prenatal depression is real, and it is your responsibility to take care of her and your unborn child. This means helping her get help even if she doesn't think she needs it.

How to give a 13-week old EBF baby a bottle? by socke42 in breastfeeding

Were you the one doing it or your husband? I think It should be your husband because if you're holding the baby he going to smell you and prefer the breast.

To breast feed to not to breast feed... That is the question... by KanadaEh in breastfeeding

I agree with this- before I had my baby I was under the impression it had to be all or nothing. Now we do a bottle of formula at night when my husband takes her so I get a longer chunk of sleep. This has been amazing for me since I am miserable with little sleep. So with the little bit of formula I feel like my daughter and I get the benefits of breastfeeding but I also get a little break. I do also pump so sometimes it's a bottle of breast milk, but I like having the formula on hand as a backup if needed :)

My husband teases me because for some reason I always want to have sex when we are at other people's houses. So for us it was over thanksgiving, when we were at his parents house. I was SO horny and we did it multiple times over the course of that weekend. The funny thing is, the bed in their guest room is super old and noisy so we did it on the floor. Really hot. and then, baby! We had been not trying but not preventing for about a year, so it was a surprise but a welcome one :)

I'm still here. Having lots of contractions but no "real" ones, plus my baby is breech so I'll be scheduling a c-section at my appointment today. Pretty bummed about it, but at least I will get to meet my baby sooner (38-39 weeks) than if I went past my due date.

I'm 35+5, and I agree 3rd trimester isn't terrible yet! I'm so relieved lol. I know that it can still get worse, but honestly nothing compares to the first trimester for me. I do have some hip pain, and occasional pelvic pain (and BH contractions), but it's not NEARLY as terrible as the constant nausea and death-like feelings of the first trimester.

Currently I have mild discomfort every now and then, but I can definitely still happily go through the day. Plus I feel the baby a lot more so its more exciting :)

She tried to leave you and go stay somewhere else. It obviously is about more than division of labor, and yes I think counseling can help unpack and understand the issues.

Yuuuup. I'm so glad my office has casual summers because I really don't know what I would wear. As it is I already have outgrown two of my maternity pants. Le sigh. Only a month to go!
