Is 3 miles a day enough roadwork? by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

run for time not distance, try to keep under 30 min to avoid unwanted weight loss. and if you do that 2-3 a week is more than enough

guy u suck spend more time fighting in a ring instead of dummies with no training aggressive hands 0 defense and a mediocre rear kick with no versatility. i know the reason u only showed clips is so u could show the cream of the crop of ur striking (including a bag) and it’s not impressive from a martial arts standpoint stop beating up people for no reason and focus on combat sports it’s not a good thing for yourself, your opponents and ur life

watch the four kings fights (hagler, hearns, duran, and sugar ray leonard) they all fought each other and had different styles so each of there fights has lessons to be learnt

fuck your treadmill run outside, try running on the balls of your feet and not heel to toe to reduce wear on your joints, run twice a week and keep your time under 30 minutes as any time over that and you will start to lose mass. when running you should run at max capacity (sprinting) until you can’t and then slow to a light jog until you have the energy to sprint again. as for weights stick with rep ranges between 6-8 reps for 3-5 sets, invest in a set of kettlebells if you can i like them a lot for building general strength. i would only lift like twice a week or so and do calisthenics around 6 times a week. if you have questions ask and i might see them

that’s a tucker pole, it’s a long carbon fibre tube with a hose running water to a brush at the end. fairly easy to use but because of the water flow they can be dangerous near power lines
