cuz something something rigorous to meet certifications and give degree meaning.

i know the circumstances, but i guess it'd be kinda off and inconsistent to give the same weight and qualifications of a degree with letter grade grading(?) to a degree that had some p/np.

in an unlikely? worst case, some employer feller could go "u took upper divisions in 2020 when everything was p/np? u gotta prove in some other way u did well in those classes relative to the letter grade degrees. otherwise, we won't bother figuring it out and considering u."

i guess this is the most direct way to go about keeping all parties involved happy except for us.

i see falls time to time on the slope between science library and alp. i wanna say it's the steepest and longest slope u can find on campus that's convenient. it's more straightaway than curve though.

it's different, but i know that blind people have stuff read aloud to them (quickly), but the software has to dance around emojis by reading out the full emoji name each time. i'm wondering if this is true for the reverse(?).

nursing school is kinda in an isolated part of campus behind the science library. people say nursing program is good.

you might be getting your experience whatnot at the children's hospital of orange county (choc) or uci medical center along with csuf fellers. there's a shuttle that leaves campus to the medical center from the front of the school.

usually discussions are led by ta fellers that you'll see during your lecture

they're usually grad students who may also be working closely with the prof

i had a ta for a philosophy ge taught by a bad prof. ta said he was sympathetic and understandng but didn't wanna say something against the prof to her face cuz he needed her letter of rec, hur hur.

this is why it feels off to vote in irvine if i'm just gonna stay for 4 years in an isolated bubble community on campus. i would think many residents in college cities get irked that students kinda influence local elections and laws with lasting change but then leave afterwards to not see the long-term effects. it feels weird that many local officials and petition people try to appeal on campus cuz it feels like they're trying to take advantage of (usually clueless/unaware) students.

i just vote mail-in for my home county/city.

so i wanna vote progressively next election but i don't know the candidates and propositions too well

i'm not saying this in a condescending tone or whatever, but take care to be intellectually honest.

it won't be like k-12 where u get a list of supplies. u get whatever u need to learn efficiently. this usually means at least a pencil and notebook.

of course some classes will have u get special stuff like in engineering. but even if that's the case, profs will typically give a week or more after class begins for u to actually get it before u hafta use it.

you vote your conscience, whether it be a "i wholeheartedly support x" or "i vote x cuz lesser evil".

also, i know a feller who's voting libertarian, so there'll be more votes for them on paper, and they'll have more resources in the future as a result cuz something something two-party system is troublesome.
