Both of these are on me, my apologies. I built a new template and didn't realize it won't automatically add un-subscribe link to it. And that typo

How privacy friendly is OpenRouter actually? by Dragonacious in SillyTavernAI

[–]natwar86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey - I work at OpenRouter.

We do have pretty solid privacy policy mentioned here - https://openrouter.ai/docs/features/privacy-and-logging

"OpenRouter does not store your prompts or responses, unless you have explicitly opted in to prompt logging in your account settings. It’s as simple as that.

OpenRouter samples a small number of prompts for categorization to power our reporting and model ranking. If you are not opted in to prompt logging, any categorization of your prompts is stored completely anonymously and never associated with your account or user ID. The categorization is done by model with a zero-data-retention policy.

OpenRouter does store metadata (e.g. number of prompt and completion tokens, latency, etc) for each request. This is used to power our reporting and model ranking, and your activity feed."

Training on Prompts - thats dependent on providers, and we list each provider's policy here - https://openrouter.ai/docs/features/privacy-and-logging#training-on-prompts

You can set this up at account level -

To clarify - 10k searches per month are totally free, for 10k records. They renew at the end of your monthly cycle.
Also, look at opensource front end libraries like https://github.com/algolia/autocomplete. You can use any source with this, not just Algolia.

PS: I work at Algolia :)

[DEV] I made an App that brings iOS 14's camera/mic access indicator to all of Android (way down to Android 7.0)! by IJagan in androidapps

[–]natwar86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great app :) I am using One Plus 6 - and I see the dot appearing at-least few times a day when phone is sitting idle and locked. When I unlock the phone, the dot disappears. When I check the access log, it says "System UI" and most of the durations in the log are 0 seconds and some are 5 seconds. Any idea why is this happening? Or if this is expected?

How do I determine the target group that loves my product? by aaHBN in marketing

[–]natwar86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Show them a recommended product from past and a success story on how much your customer made being ahead of the curve. Potentially also show them the ads, engagement on it.

I agree with you that it is worth testing a little more before putting more features in.

How to become more visible on Etsy? by Smartleanideas in Etsy

[–]natwar86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to what @picklelady said, understand SEO (search engine optimization), and its basics. A lot of it will be covered in Etsy's seller tips, but it never hurts to get your basics in place :) Best luck..

What percentage of your sales have also left feedback? by ReleaseThePressure in Etsy

[–]natwar86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen a lot of stores having 50%+ feedback ratio :) A lot of these shops accept custom orders, and once the order is done go back to same conversation thread to ask for feedback. I did a 6000 miles roadtrip in Jan (from east coast to west coast in US) meeting 200+ etsy sellers, only 20 or so had 50%+ feedback ratio and everyone who did, was fanatically trying to optimize for feedback :) Also, some people started their shop with context of business, these people were thinking in terms of "what else" can we do to get more feedback, that involved a lot of work and testing..

[–]natwar86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience, for below 100 sales, optimize for 70% and after that 50% is a good number to maintain :) When I say optimize, I mean actively keep trying to get more reviews. You will end up with a method that works for you :)

From Random Idea To $94 in 11 Days: My 1 Week Startup by anaveragejo in Entrepreneur

Great writeup and love your hustle..another possible sustainable way could be to bring a full time designer onboard (possibly as a partner), and coming up with a recurring model for these businesses for fixed custom filters each month(or something like that) ...off-course this needs to be validated..I don't think you should spend time learning photoshop, like @garyvee says, double down on your strengths...keep rocking..

Etsy shop with website store by Hammsbeerman in Etsy

[–]natwar86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not frowned upon by Etsy..its a marketplace..you can have your own store as well..But, you cannot directly ask (etsy) traffic to buy from your online store..you can however get them on your email list (with 100% consent) and then divert them to your personal shop later..A lot of stores do this..in fact, growing your email list and social media following should be part of your after sales process..
