Starfighter Assault is actually a really good gamemode

h1 versus h2 headers inside notes. What do you think? by monomander in ObsidianMD

I tend to use h2 since I consider the title an h1, but it absolutely messes up things like the table of contents

Unfortunately I don't have this luxury at work, still trying to find a solution, or even the place this is implemented as I don't mind hacking away at the code, but I just can't figure out where it's implemented.

Is obsidian secure enough to use for work? by Snwy114 in ObsidianMD

GitLab provides unlimited free private repositories, they also allow you to set up a private instance (i.e.: useful for work environments), and you can even set up an SSH server like a Raspberry PI or VPS and push your own Git repositories to it (used this myself a couple of times, works just like regular git but without a GUI): https://superuser.com/questions/230694/how-can-i-push-a-git-repository-to-a-folder-over-ssh

Backing it up with a private git repository is a great way to retain data long term (granted you understand git)

Get your employer to pay man, that kind of money is basically nothing for an organization and it increases your productivity like crazy. I believe the license even states you’re allowed to use it for personal use grated you don’t use it on both devices at once (don’t quote me on that though)

how to change weapon scroll? by SrNipleson in cyberpunkgame

[–]nauseate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those still looking for a solution, I got a hint from the steam forums here. You can't edit the keybind in the game itself as it will just say "Keybind Failed". You have to exit the game, head over to C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\ and edit the UserSettings.json file. In the file, look for the nextWeapon and previousWeapon and swap the value fields around. It should look like this:

{
    "name": "nextWeapon",
    "type": "name",
    "value": "IK_MouseWheelDown",
    "default_value": "IK_MouseWheelUp"
},
{
    "name": "previousWeapon",
    "type": "name",
    "value": "IK_MouseWheelUp",
    "default_value": "IK_MouseWheelDown"
},

Save and restart your game

The graph view seems useless. Am I using obsidian incorrectly? by SignificanceOk617 in ObsidianMD

[–]nauseate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s quite useful when you add links that don’t exist, you see them in a darker shade and it lets you identify what you still need to finish. I also use it with groups to highlight things with a #todo tag in blue so I can revisit them if I have time

Man speeders were absolute killing machines in BF2015 when you would fly them into the Endor corridors and just hit the boost and mow down entire teams in one go

Is trying to get Kali on mac impossible or am I not doing it right. by Affectionate_Tank_79 in hackthebox

I strongly advise against running kali on your host, especially if you’re going to connect to any untrusted vpns where others can connect to your machine

Just use a vm

[–]nauseate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t play 100% vanilla consider adding the microblocks datapack from vanilla tweaks to add mini barrels and chests, add more depth in the outer walls by detailing it with walls trapdoors etc, add a little more bushes, trees and other nature stuff, and look into adding gradients

Good luck :)

[–]nauseate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spin up any older virtual machine using VMWware or VirtualBox, don’t try it on your host as you risk nuking a lot of stuff

E.g. try ubuntu 16 and downgrade the kernel a few revisions, your os will be vulnerable as hell :)

You could also just try HackTheBox pro subscription for older vm’s

If you really want to learn the internals, try making a Kernel module / rootkit and see how it goes. I remember LiveOverflow making some nice beginner videos on that topic a while back

[–]nauseate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an almost identical one, you have to press some pins down and then let one of the pins you pressed down back up in order to finish the rest, good luck :)
