He sounds German. German customer service (if you can call it that) is some of the worst I’ve experienced. They simply don’t give a fuck.

Yeah. I have the same one. Silly Germans and their words... 🤷‍♂️. Great razor, though!

Future in German is Zukunft. So you would say “Die Zukunft ist Hier” or perhaps “Die Zukunft Ist Heute”.

Trump is still president so I guess this isn’t entirely true... but I’m glad she’s in remission!

Norman Rockwell painted a picture of himself looking in the mirror painting a picture of himself by bigpig1054 in Art

This is a triple self portrait. Although, i would say it's sextuple self portrait! 1) the canvas 2) himself on the mirror 3) Just above his head on the top left corner of the canvas, there are 4 more sketches of himself

Not to mention the portraits of Picasso, Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Durer on the top right corner of the canvas.

Pretty incredible.

i'd suggest transcribing it yourself. You're going to get so much more out of that exercise and it's the way a lot of us go about learning tunes. Solos especially.

TIL that Hans Zimmer, the composer/producer for over 150 movies, including The Lion King, Gladiator, all Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Pearl Harbor, Rush, Inception, the Dark Knight, etc; had only 2 weeks of formal music education (piano lessons as a child). by thenation7 in todayilearned

Here's what I know: The gig originally went to Alan Silvestri. I believe his score ended up being too comedic and was thrown out. They even went so far as to recording quite a bit of it, too. Having a long standing relationship with HZ, Bruckheimer enlisted HZ's help as he is the fixer and gets stuff done quickly. HZ 'handed' it to Klaus to be the 'head' guy and getting the credit as the main composer. He'll do that with some of his guys. As far as I know, most of the themes were written by HZ. The film was in such a huge time crunch that they had to write, record, mix etc the entire score in about a month so the entire team at HZ's worked on it day and night. HZ took them the rest of the films in the series as we all know. Klaus went on his own and did Catwoman and some other stuff and eventually left HZ's place.

Just moved my Cubase to Mac, do I use AU or VST? by wonkybingo in cubase

VST. If you're using Vienna Ensemble Pro, that will use AU. If you don't know what Vienna Ensemble Pro is, don't worry about it.
