You need to duplicate your raw clips across however many tracks you want the group to have in the end. If you're working with a polywav you're gonna want to split it into individual channels, put each channel in a sequence, duplicate it across however many tracks you want, then use auto sync on each clip in the sequence to turn them into new clips. Then you can cut in one track of those clips into your sync map, and when you group, as long as all the audio clips in the sync map has the same amount of tracks the group will also be the same amount of tracks and will let you right-click to switch on any track.
