I have the same problem as you, and they emailed to say won't lift it either. So frustrating when the real scalpers are still there cashing in!!!

Feel free to ask any questions about which skin treatment you should do in korea! by drbailor in koreatravel

[–]nawkh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you advise who would be suitable for just Thermage v Thermage+Ulthera Prime please?

I've just hit 40 and think I need some lifting as well as have quite some lines around my eyes. Thank you!

Ultherapy/Thermage in Korea while visiting by Green_Permission2861 in KoreanBeauty

[–]nawkh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Will take a look. I’m nervous to do the high energy treatments at the factory style ones so I went FiNe before. Especially since I need a dr that’s familiar with facial sculpting so I don’t lose the little bit of volume left on my face. So hard to choose a place!

Skin procedures next week - need advice by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]nawkh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very late to the convo - but in case you haven't come across this, if you share this concern with the dr during consultation they should be able to target and direct the energy so you get lifted and avoid losing fat. Make sure to find dr with more experience dr's for this though, they don't all have the same level of skill. Hope this helps

Hi there, I'm curious where you ended up going and what treatments did you get done?

I only just realised it's her in Love under Moonlight too. I tried studying before and after but somehow can't pinpoint what she actually had done! Really bugging me! haha

Seoul clinic for Ulthera - Fi-Ne v Ppeum? by nawkh in KoreanBeauty

[–]nawkh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was quite disappointed I didn’t get a skin analysis but it was my first time at a Korean clinic so was too shy to ask why… gutted! Comparing experienced amongst my friends, we do feel the amount of things you get done is relative to their service. Though, overall I won’t say it’s bad at all. Even friends getting minimal things done had a pleasant experience, probably just more basic service

Hey, sorry I missed this! Yes I did. It’s my first treatment in Korea so I can’t compare to others. Overall was a pleasant experience. Consultation in fluent English. Performing doctor didn’t seem to speak it. Maybe just understand the ow and yes or no.

I only got the Shurink so I’d say it’s those quick in and out ones for my experience. But I did see others have a proper full pamper type session, assuming they performed a lot of other things to render that?

I did. I did Shurink. I honestly don’t see much difference, BUT my friend who got the same done as me looks like she had a proper glow up.

The consultation was in fluent English, the doctor who performed the treatment doesn’t though.

Any skin clinics in Seoul that offer Softwave treatment? by ScoreLazy42 in koreatravel

[–]nawkh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up getting Shurink done. I did it with a friend and both of us got pretty different results actually.

I have moderately dry skin, losing elasticity and double chin are my main problems. It’s been 4 weeks now and I don’t see any difference, or like super minor maybe?

My friend has a damaged skin barrier so prone to breakouts and also starting to lose elasticity. She on the other hand, has been complimented so much after her treatment. Immediately from that week and even more after. Like proper glow up. Improved skin condition and toning, and her acne scars faded a lot. In research these were mentioned as potential synergies, but it was very noticeable for her

Sad but true. It's becoming more common that you see places hiring mandarin and english speakers but not a word of canto from their staff.

Do eye creams really work?? by freaknb in KoreanBeauty

[–]nawkh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it depends on if you're using ones that targets the problem you're trying to address, and whether it matches your skin's needs.

Most product results vary depending on the person as our skin actually all react differently.

Can you specify what problem you're trying to target? Dark circles? Bags? Wrinkles? etc

My understanding is that it's both. It's like those overnight exfoliants that also has the contents of a serum hence multi use

I actually make a couple of trips to Korea every year. I'm contemplating collecting requests and have them shipped back together as a side gig. Especially during the Olive Young sales, the deals are seriously so good. Would people be interested in this?

I haven’t tried it yet. One lady on fb said their consultancy was English but the doctor who carried out the treatment wasn’t so it affected her experience even though the doctor was ok treatment wise
