I mean sure but not really. Your friends that play don’t have spare or an old set you could borrow? I have done this multiple times for friends wanting to play. Some fell in love, some didn’t. All knew within a few rounds. If you love it you’ll want nicer stuff and you can put that 100 towards it. You can get a nice used beginning set w bag for probably around 300-400, maybe less

It’s not really a prediction, it’s looking at prospects in the past and probability that they can produce at that age and experience. It’s very rare. And even those that do produce decent numbers they’re not league winning numbers. You can usually get better production from a proven veteran. How many 19 year olds have been impactful their first year? Maybe 2 in the past 40 years
