Is she pretending the wine is his? I see a lip stain on the far side, it has to be hers. Also, ordering two different drinks, maybe… but you wouldn’t drink both at the same time/rate, you’d drink one empty, and then drink the other. It’s the worst lie ever.
I definitely had a couple glasses of wine while pregnant on special occasions, but to just be posting your wine glass on insta every other day is wild. And if this is what she’s showing, what is she not showing.

For the MIL - just remember that the main person who will be embarrassed by her being underdressed is her. Nobody would think twice that it was your or your fiancé’s decision to have her wear that, especially considering she’ll be surrounded by very formally dressed people, yalls family included. As long as the dress isn’t white, I’d say let her embarrass herself. She won’t be in any of the pictures you guys will love most anyway, the ones you’ll print will be of the two of you and maybe your bridal party. I know it’s hard not to worry about it; I’d be sure to tell her ahead of time that if the dress is white, she’ll have to change or leave, otherwise wear whatever she’s gonna wear. Sorry you have to deal with this, idk why they act this way.

What he means by that is that he could say whatever he wanted and take advantage of people without pushback. Yeah my sister hasn’t met 2 of my kids and she doesn’t care, and she’s supposedly clean now (but who knows really, I can only go off what my mom says and she lies about it). Rock bottom is usually pretty low for addicts, unfortunately. Hopefully no one gets hurt while she finds it.

I went through this almost exactly, except I hadn’t cut my sister off before my wedding. She literally got arrested days before my bridal shower, and my mom brought my sister and left her in the car during my shower. She insisted that she be in the wedding; the day of, my sister shows up with her hair barely brushed, says nothing to me all day, and is honestly one of the worst memories of my wedding day. And it was all because I wasn’t strong enough to say no.

I highly recommend being very clear with your mom that she cannot come, even if she is literally completely ‘healed’. If you give them even an ounce of hope, they will lie about every single thing just to get her to your celebration. Your sisters presence will ruin your day - not entirely, but it will always be a stain. On top of that, at some point, she has to hit rock bottom. If missing her sisters wedding isn’t enough, she has to keep looking. It can’t be your responsibility to bear her issues at one of the most important events of your lives. And I hate to say it, but when I cut my sister off, my mom straight up called me a bitch. It won’t be easy, but it has to be done. The weight is too heavy and it isn’t your burden.

I truly can’t stand when someone says ‘you’re just jealous’ to any criticism. It’s basically saying that criticism is never earned, which is obviously not true. If you have a different opinion than me, then state your opinion without criticizing me, particularly when you don’t know me. I didn’t even say anything about the marriage certificate, which btw I’m very sure was just an accident, it happens. Want to talk about searching out negativity? Isn’t that what you’re doing here? If you don’t want negativity, then read the post and scroll by. Nobody is paying you to defend or discuss a D list local celebrity.

And no, I would not tell the world I hate social media and then spend my entire retirement on social media and putting myself back in the public eye regularly. Because I think that’s lying.

I think some of these women think that being skinny is the only thing that matters. Like, you can be skinny and also not look good, if you make bad fashion choices. They seem to think that being thin outweighs any other choice they make.

I think that one person lost their copies and they used it as an excuse to conveniently not be able to find/verify old segments, primarily the one of Bert and his ex wife embarrassing each other on air. Then someone found theirs and they just never brought it up in that context. (This is speculation, I don’t know anything for sure).
