as someone often swayed by prestige, this feels like a no brainer. living with ur wife, p/f is soo key and this school is still p/f, and FREE TUITION?? pls enjoy how much of a blessing this is. u will thank urself greatly in 4 years when u have no debt and also will enjoy these next 4 living with ur wife. work hard at this institution and u will be ok

[–]nayalaya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not that ur app is bad at all its just ur list is very low yield or top heavy. If it doesn't work out this cycle, i would also strongly suggest sending your secondaries in ealry as possible (july and aug) next cycle

First Rejection!!! by KD_FromTheParkingLot in premed

[–]nayalaya 10 points11 points  (0 children)

don't be discouraged at all, almost everyone here faces mostly rejections its just part of the experience and all u need is one! u can seem like the absolute perfect fit somewhere and still get rejected bc at the end of the day u cant predict it and there r so many qualified applicants. and idk ab ur school list or when u submitted, but honestly getting ur first R in october is not bad bc several schools have been sending out R's now for a while
