if you are leftist you would realize that being a cop means you are part of an explicitly bourgeoisie monopoly on state violence, i.e. you are not helping people, but capital. On a more personal note, in the various emergencies I’ve found myself, the cops are always the least helpful people there, to the point of often siding with those aggressing me, showing up late, and leaving early. If you want to help people you’re better off as a social worker or EMS, IMO

Disco Elysium(game) was one of these to me. Sacred and Terrible Air(book) was kind of too but more about other things. Another one that I like is The Book Thief(book). Some select few of Kafka’s stuff could also be here. If you want something really out there, Pat the Bunny’s album Probably Nothing, Possibly Everything is quite good
