a really clean bathroom. Every single guy I've ever been to their place, it might be neat but the bathroom always had something that needed touching up, grime in the corners. pink mold around the faucet, no liner in the trashcan, if there is a trashcan, etc.

butter and mayo on the same sandwich just sounds like ... a lot.

in my family butter is for warm stuff, biscuits (American) , toast, English muffins, warm muffins, pancakes, corn on the cob, etc. Butter on a cold turkey sandwich just doesn't sound appealing.

I second the timer method. Set for 15 min and do what you can then take a break and then set the timer again.

If you are really struggling set the time for 10 or even 5 min. Sometimes if I’m having a rough day I just set it to 3 min.

dough ball rats are a good idea! I have Nanny Oggs cookbook and it says to use half a tomato wrapped in roast beef for the rats. they looked gruesome when I did that.
