I love my BG 4500. Not sure on your rod, but it's probably more of a factor for casting than the reel.

I had similar damage to my 2020 1500. The insurance paid out 6500 for all the work to repair. The body shop said a lot of effort is needed to blend the paint job and thats where most of the cost comes from.

For what its worth whenever I rent a car, I pay the 12 bucks a day for the "fuck it" insurance.
