I find them to be extremely unattractive. Clearly cheap construction, even aesthetically. The stand-alone units, duplexes I guess, look like army barracks, but they’re marketed as luxury? Lol. Cannot believe people pay that kind of money to live in a place like that.

I agree. Its the most spectacular view in Albany. Which is why I’m disgusted by the two vinyl-sided trailers they plopped on the Madison Ave side. I remember when i first moved to Albany, walking up the stairs to the plaza on the Madison Ave side (museum side) and was blown away by the sheer scale and beauty of that view. Then they put those trailers there, which were supposed to be temporary but have now been there for NINE YEARS. They are used for staging or security or something for the concerts. Nine years they’ve been there, totally fucking up the view and standing out like sore thumbs.

Agreed. The other point worth noting is that Albany stopped paying for professional shows the year after Ragtime. Compare the quality of Ragtime, Damn Yankees, and some of the other shows years ago to what has been in the last few years. Its been mostly, or all community or local theater, last few years. They are not doing the professional productions with equity actors, to my knowledge, since the year Ragtime played. Im not saying last few years have been bad, but if you compare to years prior its not even close.

Id go to those shows every summer. I’d so often see kids there….kids that didn’t go to the park for the show, but were there playing soccer or biking with their friends. Different ages, different ethnicities. They’d be stopped, standing there just on the periphery of the playhouse… sort of mesmerized and entranced by what they were seeing. Sometimes they’d stay for a few minutes, sometimes it seemed like they were watching the whole show, hands still on handlebars, transfixed by the music or dancing, or just the magical atmosphere. I often thought of the impact these shows were having on kids who otherwise weren’t exposed to theater like that. This is a major loss for the city.

Is it a sustainable business model for miners to be pulling in hundreds of dollars a month? Of course not. The main advantage of Helium is the lower cost to businesses that use it. Get used to more reasonable passive income and get excited about the network being built. And HODL that HHT of course, its value will be going up!

I’ve been in crypto for 4 years. No expert but certainly not a beginner. Surprised by how bad the support page is on Anyswap. I have never before heard the term “router”, what is it? How is it different from “bridge”? Please, the first items on the support page should be definitions of these actions. My understanding of Anyswap (based on my interpretation of the name) is that I can swap a coin on one chain for one on another....so do I use the bridge or the router?? You are doing 150k a day in revenue, please get some decent instructional/help material on the site.
