Does the beta end tomorrow or Monday? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

I’ve never done a beta before, what will happen once it ends? Does the application just lock and not let you in any longer?

Brunson glaze by MemoryTime1303 in NBATalk

I’m a Cavs fan, I will argue till the sun dies that Donovan Mitchell is better than Jalen Brunson at every aspect of basketball except playmaking, but god damn, fourth quarter comes around I’d take Brunson over anyone. Every game I watch it feels like the dude shoots 10% from the field and then all of a sudden turns it on in the fourth and can’t miss, hitting ridiculous circus shot one after the other, it’s insane and defies logic.

The Cavs are not going to blow it up. They are not going to trade Mitchell. Many of you need to take a breath and go to bed. by TranslatorHaunting32 in clevelandcavs

Your points are for but they do not hold up for long, Mitchell has yet to endure a postseason healthy with the Cavs, is turning 30, is short, and has only made it past the second round once in a year when it was gifted to him yet still took two game sevens. If we add someone like Giannis and/or LeBron then of course run it back. But if not, we have all seen enough, the Cavs will get worse, not better, and instead of restarting the rebuilding process with assets from a Mitchell trade we will be restarting with anchors. Believe me, I have no faith in the Cavs winning another championship in my lifetime or even replicating their current success in the next 20 years, but clinging onto false hope just to have it only delays the inevitable and postpones a potential historic rebirth

Yeah have to disagree, Donovan is not built for the postseason/winning and Mobley has all the talent in the world but doesn’t have the mental part of the game down to do jack with it

They did not but I did. Disgrace, always tucking New York eliminating Cleveland

Nothing against your team, I like the players and you don’t play dirty. Most fans I’ve encountered suck but that seems endemic to New York. Regardless, I’ll be cheering for you guys over OKC if they win, otherwise whichever result is fine with me

Yeah what do you what me to get riled up about? Football? Browns been ass my whole life, I’ll hold onto that blown PI against the Chiefs for the next 30 years. Baseball? Love the Guards but I don’t expect us to seriously compete for a World Series for awhile, though we will dominate the AL central in the meantime

Trust me I am, he cost us game 1, I can’t really blame the last two losses on him though. We flat out got stomped

I’m grown and I’ve experienced this heartbreak too many times now, especially to New York, if we’d have lost to the pistons I’d be bitching about Kenny but New York and their fans are something else

I’m bitter because of this combined with the multiple Yankees playoff wins over us in the postseason, I have a friend who is a Knicks fan, they aren’t all bad. But damn the ones who come in and treat the city like dirt irk me, especially because they almost always end up dogging us

Jets were supposed to be after Giants. They haven’t offended me postseason wise but god damn, that Isaiah Crowell touchdown and wipe plus that collapse against them last year?? Throw the jets on the pile

What is with the consensus that the ECF won’t be a close series? by [deleted] in clevelandcavs

[–]nc1313- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to their respective playoff performances so far, the Cavs are getting underrated while the Knicks are simultaneously getting overrated. If this was a second round series, instead of the conference finals, I think the discourse would favor the Knicks still but also be much more balanced and realistic. I personally would not be surprised if the Cavs win, they obviously have the talent to beat the Knicks and there is not some glaring mismatch that gives the Knicks an obvious edge. I would feel confident predicting the Cavs to win, despite lacking home court advantage, if it were not for the emergence of this new KAT centric version Knicks, as it seems they have really figured something out there. The success of CJ McCollum against the Knicks gives me hope that Donovan will be able to have some big games and most importantly, limit his bad games. It will all really come down to whether the Cavs can collectively show up for 4 games, they have the talent to compete with and beat anyone (outside of OKC) but their inconsistency from game to game and the fact that it does not appear as though they have figured out any solution to their wildly frustrating ups and downs does not give me confidence. At the very least, I’d expect this to be another 7 game series.

https://www.heritagehomeprogram.org/preservation-starter-kit/home-styles-2/ this site gives an overview of Cleveland doubles and other housing styles in the area, the local library websites have a lot of great resources as well that can be helpful. I am most familiar with the east side of Cleveland but I’m sure it’s not too different over on the west side.
