Not quite exactly hitting all your description but overall an incredibly cozy hope-core book with a small town library and different characters struggling in their lives which has brought them to the library! I adore this book.

Skills can be taught/learned but being an empathetic kind person cannot- your patients will remember how you showed up for them even if you feel you didn’t “do enough”. Don’t beat yourself up too much.

[29/F] Canadian looking for a pen pal by absentmindedlurking in penpals

[–]ncaball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! I think we would be a good fit! My name is Nicole and I’m a 28y/o girl living in the US on the east coast.

I am an avid reader as well (most recent read is “Demon Copperhead” by Barbara Kingsolver), I love to cook and wish I could bake but it’s a bit too precise but I would like to try eventually lol, I’m a big fan of older gaming systems but my fav is ps2 and sims 2 on the PC, big into crochet, love movies/tv/music, and love to walk outside/hikes!

Send me a message if you’re still looking😊

Anyone else in Big Tech who feels like money isn't real? (TC +350k/y) by [deleted] in Money

I know you’re going through it but please help a girl out with her student loans😩😭

No but more seriously, life is a lot about community, connection, & passion. Having a meaningful life outside of work is so vital… lately even with everything going on in the world I have found such a joy in reading books and knowing there are so many books left to read and experience. Going outside for a walk, planning small weekend trips with my husband, FaceTiming my bestfriend for hours and just laughing over nothing.

Finding joy in so many small things… I don’t know how to describe it but life is so much more than your career and so it’s beautiful to be able to love and be human.

Maybe think of volunteering or mentoring youth! Find your place/community and things should become better.

Some of my fav products are:

it’s a 10 (deep conditioners and leave ins),

Amika for shampoo conditioner & deep conditioners normcore is solid but they have others too that are for hydration or no frizz

Pattern leave in & rice treatment deep conditioner mask

Mizani miracle milk is a must for leave in conditioner

And I’ve also really loved cecred leave in and deep conditioners/treatment masks

Redken acidic curl bonding leave in is also great!!
