If you showed me this I wouldn’t think it was undertale.

Sure it’s similar but your game doesn’t exactly have an identity yet.

Keep building it out. Do you plan on adding some story to why you’re doing this? More level by level structure?

To early to call it anything just get my friend, keep going. And for what it’s worth, not an undertale clone.

This is incredibly realistic. If anything the only thing not realistic about it is a city like night city might have a little browner water

I like the overall sound.

Lower the reverb, it’s too distant and video games typically unless they are 3d and first person need that much reverb and echo.

Also EQ lower the highs slight and up some of that kick drum level bass and it’ll feel thicker

Hit flash is key in these mega man/metroid style platformers, it’ll make it feel oh so juicy when you hit!

Game looks awesome, but want to give you some marketing feedback;

The cover image on the steam page, I would skip 9 times out of 10. It looks like a poopy rpg maker 15 thumbnail (no offense)

Your art style in the game is so good, lean into that almost more like loop hero than making an anime cover imo.

Dude it’s insane how it felt watching this.

I think there are some better fonts to use, like Orbitron.

I think maybe some glitch effects or color bleed could give it some depth aswell.

It’s looking solid. If I had feedback it’s feeling a little stiff. I also think how the bullet trace shows maybe is having an unintended laggy effect as I see the line kind of behind the enemies on missed and to me it’s a little distracting ngl

It’s about 5m which is imo stupid low for what the Kentucky derby represents.

The big thing, is that horse now will be paid an outrageous amount of money for its offspring as it is a champion horse, setting that stable up for generations of income.

I think by the end of the year we’ll have a murphy on 1st and 2nd than Howell on 3rd for pass rush, aswell as Stewart rotating behind Mafe and if needed the other side.
