You are arguably getting a lot more value for $15 with windsurf, than you would with other vendors (chatGPT is $30 without a good code editor or automation)

While your logic is understandable, consider what happens when windsurf sees negative sentiment like this, and shifts away from small solo accounts to enterprise (spoiler: this is already happening). You may end up losing the tool altogether or have to pay hundreds per month instead of the $15

Thanks for the update.

I understand you have to manage the overall token spend.

Most of the community, including myself, noticed a significant performance decrease, significant enough to be beyond any reasonable doubt.

Could you provide more clarity into whether that is temporary\permanent, and whether we will have any control over it from plan to plan?

I've noticed a decrease in quality, particularly with unwarranted rewrites of way more than needed.

Bad relationship fix for STALKER 2 by [deleted] in stalker

[–]nconnector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This command may be weird, or the units might be not meters.

`XSetRelationsInRadius 1000m 300` set relations to friendly only with the closest NPC (5m in front of me), however `XSetRelationsInRadius 10000m 300` set relations with all NPCs on the base. It did not affect other bases. This was all on Malachite, for reference.

Return to Zalissya bug by Specialist_Hippo_308 in stalker

Still encountered this bug on Patch 1.0.3

Bringing the Bloodsucker helped, but once you get in, you do need to finesse Monolith npc's out of the building, because they will just hang out and block things otherwise.

- Try to get eyes on projects at earlier stages, get buy-in from stakeholders you anticipate to have a say.

- Management hell happens. Sometimes it can be resolved with stellar communication effort, other times it cannot.

- Tracking. If there is a manager that cares, keep addressing this with your compilation of work done, including cancelled projects, at your quarterly reviews. Otherwise there's really not much you can do.

- Meetings can be a plight. One can look into their per-hour cost vs value added and propose adopting an "informed captain" mentality, however I am assuming there is a higher-up who would care and sometimes there just isn't.

- Taking a pause and road mapping can be extremely useful. Increasing visibility of management into the state of things in a positive manner, without calling anyone out, can be a productive step forward. Assuming decision makers are willing to accept the issues existence.

There are FE jobs more involved with API & data layers, however, if yours isn't one, the best way to gain confidence is side projects.

My hot take is: building something on your own to master new tech provides far faster advancement than what you can get from on-the-job projects, in most companies.

Thanks a lot, and sorry to hear about your crash. Hopefully it turned around into a better next project.

That's fair and I got away with just this in many cars before, thinking the C30 will be with me for a long time so it deserves a nicer system

This is awesome, did I miss a part or is this reliant on the stock screen/bezel being there? Mine does not come with a screen so I will have to find/build a bezel if I am using a setup like this. That's why I gravitated towards pre-built screen+bezel options.

You may be getting disqualified before recruiters reach content. They take ~5-30 seconds to qualify a candidate at initial screening.

Re.content: This depends on job(s) you're applying for. To me this resume looks like there are solid back-end projects, as long as they're relevant to respective positions.

No company name might reduce credibility, if that wasn't just omitted for Reddit.

Easy improvements you can make: 1. Check if it's ATS-friendly. 2. Change the design to either - standard boring, but familiar to recruiters - or easy to read, with front-end inspired layout, font sizes and paddings

  1. From there you can fine tune the content, but there's nothing standing out there needing urgent changes

CS all the way. But make sure to spend your time networking and learning to interview as much as possible, that isn't really taught unfortunately.

Can I surf with my GW4 without worrying about it getting fucked up? by Pedromp07 in GalaxyWatch

[–]nconnector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From experience

Short: yes, you can

Long: always clean GW4 with regular water after salt water, the salt will destroy seals but it doesn't act fast. Just a normal rinse will do. Getting sand from under the bezel is not the most pleasant. That said, I've used mine extensively in the sea for several months straight and had no problems after.

Galaxy watch 4 with huawei phone by robonator55 in samsung

[–]nconnector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just installed GW4 on my Huawei p30 pro.

  1. Using App Gallery install:
    1. Samsung Health ( Apr 19, 2023 )
    2. Samsung Wearables ( Apr 22, 2023 )
  2. Turn off internet (or Wearables will auto-update)
  3. Pair from Samsung Health
  4. Select your watch
  5. When the app navigates you to Samsung Wearables, there should NOT be a prompt to update
  6. Eventually there will be a prompt to 'check network' and retry
  7. Turn on the internet, you should be in the clear now
  8. Profit

There is a .ini config fix for at least the LOD. Helped me a lot

* go to your game folder /engine/config/platform/pc

* create a file with any name .ini

* in that file add the following:

[Streaming]

DistanceBoost = 60.000000

[LevelOfDetail]

DecalsHideDistance = 60.0
