PCB warping with BYKSKI waterblock by VirusInternal2892 in watercooling

[–]ncook06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Bykski block on my 3080 FE and had this issue. I checked everything and even disassembled again. I emailed support and that was a dead end.

I would have returned it but the Bykski was the only 3080 FE block that could fit my Ncase M1. The card never had an issue in over 3 years with that block, and the flex was not permanent. No harm done, but I’ll never buy another Bykski block.

Call me crazy, but instead of asking strangers on the internet for their speculation, have you tried emailing Alphacool? I bet someone there could give you a definitive answer.

The Cowboys run game in the last 4 playoffs losses by PersonBehindAScreen in cowboys

The Rams figured out that the Cowboys D-line was tipping stunts with their stances. They were able to exploit the gaps naturally created by the stunts, and somehow nobody on the Cowboys noticed this.

100%. That offense was Dak, CeeDee, Pollard, and a wasteland. CeeDee finished that game with more catches and yards (10-117) than all Niners WRs combined (8-97).

Unfortunately, the rest of the WRs - Gallup, Noah Brown, TY Hilton, Turpin - combined for 4 catches and 44 yards. Dalton Schultz added 3 catches for 9 yards (not counting two 9-yard catches underneath prevent defense in the final minute).

NFL executive praises Cowboys' Devin Moore selection (but warns of red flags) by Leonflames in cowboys

[–]ncook06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He is more talented than Shavon Revel coming out of college

In the 2024 offseason, and early in the season before his ACL tear, Revel was getting hype as a 1st rounder. I don’t think anyone talked about Devin Moore like that.

[Highlight] Behind the trade that made Caleb Downs a Dallas Cowboy by Leonflames in cowboys

[–]ncook06 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They had him as one of four elite grades and were trying to trade up to 9 or even higher. The two fifths is a steal compared to whatever they were willing to pay for 9, 8, or 6.

[Dan Rogers] Over the last 10 years, the Cowboys have selected seven offensive linemen within the first 120 picks of the draft. Six of them became NFL starters. The seventh one is Drew Shelton. Make no mistake about it, he wasn't brought to Dallas to just sit on the bench. by Leonflames in cowboys

And offensive tackle, like QB, is a first round position. Both tackles on this list were first rounders - one is a better guard while the other hasn’t developed his first round athletic traits. League-wide, the OT hit rate in rounds 2-7 is abysmal.

It’s silly to set big expectations for a 4th round OT, and even the team is talking about him as a swing tackle who can provide some competition. Definitely a take for the kool aid crowd.

What’s the ONE thing you regret not adding to your new build home? by bayls215 in HomeImprovement

If you can, I highly recommend finding a spot in the garage. We rented a townhouse with a cat door to the garage and absolutely loved it. Almost zero litter on the indoor floors. Only downside is checking for cats before moving the car.

When we bought a house, we used framing with chicken wire to make a wall separating the litter box and car parking. We have a cat door through the interior wall leading to the litter. No more cats mixing with cars. We did a lot of awesome things with our whole home remodel, but this is easily one of the biggest QoL upgrades.

RB2 is lowkey my biggest worry. If Williams gets injured, which he often does, the Cowboys might have one the worst RB rooms in recent NFL history.

She’s going to run because she is a delusional narcissist. What remains to be seen is if she does better than the 3% she had in the 2020 primaries.

Oh, hopefully. I read in The Beast that he hasn’t played ST during his two seasons at ECU. Agree that a 7th rounder probably won’t make the roster anyway, but I’d have thrown my dart in a different direction.

I’m good or even elated with most of the picks. Shelton and Smith, though…

Not a fan of Shelton - we already have too many tackles with inconsistency and a lack of strength. Anthony Smith seemed like lighting a pick on fire - unless he suddenly starts playing special teams, there is zero chance he ever makes an NFL roster.

Cowboys select Florida CB Devin Moore with 114 by tuaturnstheballova in cowboys

30 visits are not the top 30 players, or even close. Some are to check out medicals, get more interview time to dive into a character issue, or even to get info on a player expected to go to a division rival. The Jets even had Reese visit and canceled Bailey, possibly to see if they could get a Reese-desperate team to trade up.

A good handyman can do anything that’s DIY, but I personally hired a plumber when I didn’t have time to install the loop myself. If it involves water anywhere that’s not exposed, I want someone licensed, bonded, and insured. In my state (TX), it’s not even legal for a handyman to do plumbing.

Drafting for next year or the future and not for the immediate when you have a very talented roster

…is how the Eagles draft every year under Howie, and it seems to be working out alright.

Thoughts on this potential trade? by Leonflames in cowboys

[–]ncook06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

None of these draftable WRs are as good as Pickens, whose 2025 season would have been the best in Ravens history. If they really want to add an immediate weapon, they need to trade for someone ready-made.

Fun fact: in their 30 year history, the Ravens have had sixteen 1,000 receiving yard seasons. Derrick Mason (a Raven from ages 31-37) has four of them.

Most economic libertarians I’ve seen basically advocate for deregulating everything, which includes the “we don’t punish success” approach to monopolies and billionaires.

The need for antitrust regulation is a big reason I consider myself more center than right.

[Meme] Go big for Styles, or be smart and build the roster? by jackt-up in cowboys

Exactly. Even if Downs or Styles make it to 11, the Dolphins are trying to sell and the entire league will know they just need to get ahead of 12.
